The Garden Room is a single ensuite bedroom on the ground floor, with views over the Exe Valley. The house is set is over an acre of garden and woodland on the edge of Tiverton. Tea/coffee making facilities.
2 twin rooms also available.
This is a perfect space for one person. Called the Garden Room as you almost feel you're in the garden. Cosy and comfortable.
We have a yard at the back of the house with plenty of space to park your car. We also have a lockable garage should you come by bike.
There is a dining room for breakfast. We have a large garden with terrace and guests are very welcome to walk/sit here. We also have two angora goats and some chickens that you can meet.
Interaction with guests
We love meeting our guests and chatting as much or as little as they welcome. This is our home and we are happy to have people here.
Other things to note
Howden House is run as a small B and B so there are likely to be other guests staying when you visit us.
There is no smoking in the house and I'm afraid that, because of our own animals, we can't allow pets.

Martin and I run a small and friendly bed and breakfast on the edge of Tiverton. We have two dogs, two Angora goats and four chickens. We've done B and B for 6 years and love meeting so many different people. We are very informal. I use the mohair from my goats to spin and then knit - but it's a slow process! I love all things textile and crafty. Martin is a keen golfer, loves all sport and does most of the garden. I try to grow a few vegetables. I don't eat meat and Martin eats lots. We both love walking in the Devon countryside with our dogs. We're also rather keen on food and cooking, despite our differing tastes.
