I booked this stay for my daughter, who is attending the University of Iceland this year. Svava responded quickly to all requests, and was very accomodating. Thanks.

The hostel room is clean, bright. Svava and her sis are so kind. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely choose the place for my next Iceland travel. Strongly recommended. ( I stayed for 3 days separately, so I will just copy and paste my review for the following ones)

This is a great little house right in the heart of Reykavik. Svava and Sara made us very welcome. The house is basic but fine for travellers wanting a base from which to explore Reykavik by foot. There is a supermarket right across the street and lots of little eateries. I can recommend the Sandholt bakery just doent the street.

I've spent few times before in Reykjavik and this was for sure one of my favorite places to stay. Comfy, and authentic Icelandic house, located close to everything you like to visit in the city center. As it is a bit on the backyard it's at the same time quiet and relaxing. The house is fully equiped and very clean. Svava and her sister are very friendly and always available if you need anything.

The apartment is located smack dab in the center of the city with everything you'd need right around you, including the supermarket across the street. The neighbors were pretty loud until a little past 2 in the morning, but other than that it was a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Svava was a pleasant and welcoming host; her place has all the basics and comfortable beds. The location is prime! We just walked out the front door to the main street with restaurants and bars. Svava also suggested GLO a vegan restaurant for my friend... It was delicious!! Also, there was free parking out front. All and all it was a great stop!

My husband and I stayed in Svava's lovely home for 6 nights and we highly recommend it. The apartment is small but cozy and contains all one needs for a lovely time in Reykjavik. The place is clean and comfortable and the neighborhood is perfect for exploring the city. Svava and her sister are very nice and helpful and live right next door so any questions can be answered by them. They speak perfect English and are passionate about ensuring the community is a creative and beautiful one. It's a great space for a small family or a few close friends traveling together. We hope to return.
