The space

Kid friendly extras! Can provide high chair, pack n play and other handy items that you don't want to drag on vacation for your child/baby.

We can be as available and helpful as needed. We do live upstairs so can help with any questions you may have. Or we will simply check you in and leave you to enjoy your stay without interaction.

Situated just below beautiful Queen Elizabeth Park. Also 1 block from Nat Bailey Stadium where the Vancouver Canadians play baseball in the summer.

Close to lots of major bus routes as well as 10-15 minute walk to Canada Line train which goes to the airport as well as downtown Vancouver. Can also walk about 5 minutes to a bus that goes to the same Canada Line station.

Located 2 blocks west of fabulous Main street shopping and amazing restaurant choices.
Grocery store and most amenities also 2 blocks away on Main St.
Around the corner from fabulous Hillcrest Community Centre (legacy Olympic building, former site of 2010 Olympic curling venue!) with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, gym, ice skating, fitness centre and library.
Very family friendly neighbourhood.

This is a self contained below ground level suite in our home. Access is from outside into a common area/laundry area and then a second private access door to the suite itself.
There is one section that has a lower ceiling height due to allowance for a heat duct so be aware it is aprox 6' high. The sofa (the pullout bed) is under that section.
We do have 2 cats in our home but they would of course not enter the suite or common area (unless you want them to!).

Anastasia's place is awesome! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, it's within walking distance of Main St and beautiful Queen Elizabeth Park and it's in an excellent neighborhood, very close to downtown and Vancouver's main attractions. We had a great time and would definitely book again with them!

We had a super pleasent stay in Anastasias Suite. There was enough room for 4 adults staying 4 nights. The Couch might not be comfy enough staying long term. We had everything we needed tho and enjoyed our stay. Also they gave us advice about things to do in Vancouver. Thanks again! :)

Great place to stay. Easy directions for checkin and cozy accommodations. Plenty of shops and food in walking distance plus a beautiful neighborhood! I definitely recommend this place!

Anastasia and her husband Casey were fantastic hosts. On the first night we arrived much later than expected and our international data plans hadn't kicked in yet, so finding our way around the city was more difficult than I had initially expected. After a train ride to a familiar area, I called Anastasia to make sure we were headed in the right direction towards the apartment. Instead of having us walk, Casey drove out to us and picked us up! Further still, he offered to make us food since many of the restaurants were closed by that time (we didn't need to take him up on his offer, as there was an open restaurant within 2 minutes walking distance). Despite the 9 hour delay in our arrival (due to airport blues), they were extremely gracious and I was always able to easily get ahold of them if I ever needed to. When we weren't in contact, they let us be so our stay was still very private. We also got to meet their kids briefly, who were very cute. It was truly the best hosting experience we've had so far, and we've loved all of our hosts. The place itself was very nice and clean and is in a truly incredible location. Within 2 minutes of walking, you're at Main Street, which has numerous shops, restaurants, and cafes that exude local flavor, for those of you who want to get a better feel for what it might be like to live in Vancouver. Additionally, there are several bus stops in similar proximity to the apartment, which allowed for very easy transport all throughout the city at virtually any time (I believe they start at 5am and end at 3am). About 10 minutes away is a train station, which gave us quick access to the airport for when it was time to leave. For those of you traveling internationally and who need local currency, there was a bank and ATM within maybe 5 minutes walking distance as well. I will say that the ceiling above the couch/pullout bed is low (it's pictured), so if you're a very tall individual that might be a problem. But for those of us who are around average height it wasn't an issue. All in all I'd highly recommend staying at Anastasia's place. If they're available the next time we come to Vancouver we will definitely be booking with them!

We loved the apartment so much we went back for another visit. For location and comfort it cannot be beat. Perhaps avoid if you are very tall as the roof is quite low in places but this is all documented in the description. The friendliness of the hosts made our stay extra special and their assistance with local knowledge was so valuable.

We are a family of 4. Have always just rented our suite on a longer term basis but friends suggested we try airbnb instead. So here we are!
We are new to hosting but are used to welcoming people into our home.
We love our neighbourhood and our city and look forward to hosting people from nearby and abroad!
