This was my first experience of Airbnb. Asa was a very warm, friendly and attentive host. During our stay we had one issue with the bathroom. However this was swiftly sorted out and was no longer a problem. The accommodation was spotless and the wine, bagels and cream cheese were much appreciated after a very long journey all the way from New Zealand. We loved staying in Brooklyn. The location of Asa's accommodation was brilliant - great for walking and very close to the subway. The neighbourhood feels very safe and there are a good variety of cafes, bars and restaurants in the area. There is also the Saturday farmers market close by and an excellent supermarket 5 minutes walk away. This was my 3rd visit to New York and the best yet. I hope I will be able to visit this wonderfully vibrant city again soon. I would definitely choose to stay at Asa's place again. Thanks Asa!

Asa was a friendly and helpful host. She provided us with useful information that helped our trip. The room is exactly as advertised and fantastic for a base. Ada's place is also very close to many awesome coffee and food joints! We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back.

This studio is a wonderful option in Park Slope. I live here and rented it for when my mom came to visit. It is an excellent north slope location and the hosts are very nice. Asa met me for check in before my Mom came and they had left wine, bagels, and fruit. The apartment is super clean and comfortable. It would be a great place for tourists and I can attest that it is a great place for visiting parents for those living here without a guest room.

Asa User ProfileAsa is a superhost.

I'm originally from Sweden but consider myself part Brooklynite after 27 years in Park Slope. My husband and I enjoy our family — 2 sons who are sophomores in college, our oldest daughter living in Portland, OR and our younger daughter who just graduated college and living at home — gardening and cooking. Well-traveled within the US and abroad.
