Chambre avec vue
We’ve been welcoming guests to our home since 1995.
Mediterranean hospitality is at the heart of Chambre avec Vue, sharing the beauty, ambience and friendship that lives in this house.
When you stay with us, you become a patron of the art that surrounds you. We invite you to enjoy it daily.
Work on display in the house (all pieces may be purchased) is the creative output of our artists in residence, curated and displayed by Kamilla Regent and Pierre Jaccaud.
The guests will have access to a 700m2 house filled with art everywhere from the international residency that has been created 20 years ago by Kamila and Pierre. The 2 living rooms provide you with fire places in the winter and many books. The garden is also a wonderful place to enjoy your stay in the shadow of many fruit trees in the summer time.
Interaction with guests
Pierre and Kamila will be happy to introduce you to this unique world of Chambre Avec Vue and make your stay a joyful, peaceful and creative moment in Provence. They will be able to advice you on the region, the restaurants and all the best things you could be up to. They have this B&B for more than 21 years now.
Other things to note
"Chambre de séjour avec vue - Demeure d'art et d'hôtes" is one of the most unique and fun properties you'll find. Situated within the quiet village of Saignon, just 5 minutes drive from the market town of Apt in the Vaucluse region of Provence, Maison d'Art is a visual sensation!
The two owners are nice, fun, creative, speak English for those whose French is a "little" rusty. They have restored what was a totally ruined village house and much to the delight of the locals, they've created something for all to enjoy. They offer just three rooms and 2 studios for bed and breakfast guests, each room has its own private bathroom and each bedroom and bathroom are bright, cheerful and filled with character. The studios are independent and a dream to spend a cosy time in Provence.
Part of the house is an art gallery where local and overseas guest artists exhibit their works. The sitting room, with its large open fire, has beautiful old Provencal floor tiles, draped curtains framing views of the village life. The dining room has an open fireplace for those cooler months, more nice floor tiles, large etched glass doors into the kitchen and a cozy feel.
The gardens out the back are large, and are also used to display bronze art works, old terra cotta urns and age old shade trees under which you can relax with a good book or dine out during the summer months. All in all, this is a great location for those with a creative flair who appreciate something out of the ordinary.
