Outstanding host, marvelous home. We had a great time at Veronika. The location is great. Quiet area, yet 10min drive from Lucano Mombello and the ferry. The house is outstanding. It feels like a living place, with all what is needed to cook and live. Different from many houses we saw that feel like Airbnb-only purpose. There is a baby curb, baby chair, and toys. The house is spacious, with very high standard with an exceptional decoration and a huge garden. Veronika has been a great host. She prepared for guest a full book with all explanation and tips. The most complete I have ever seen by far. Be aware that there we befriended with mosquitos when we were (August), and that internet and 4G cellular coverage is hectic.

Veronica's house is just amazing, even better than on the pictures. The wonderful garden is huge and we had a great time (we were two families with a total of four kids). There is a lot of space in- and outside the house, the lake is accessible by foot or bike, the beds are super comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious and beautiful. Would definitely recommed it for a lovely family holiday!

We stayed at Veronica's place for 6 nights and had a wonderful time. The house is set in a beautiful estate, green and peaceful. It is beutifully decorated, with attention to details, very clean, spacious and cosy. The locatiopn is great for exsploring the area and Verinica was immidiatly available to provide any help that we needed. Highly reccomended! We would surly love to come back.

We did quite a bit of searching for somewhere to stay before we found this lovely stone house (for a group of 6 there were very few houses with 3 double bedrooms each with their own bathroom never mind ones that look this gorgeous!) Veronica was very helpful before we arrived and helped us out by borrowing a cot that we could use and lending us her high chair (which really helped with the amount of stuff we needed to transport). On arriving we all couldn't believe that the house actually looks better than it does in the pictures! A really idyllic surrounding, beautiful decor and lots of personality. The nearby town of Cerro has a few shops, a couple of nice restaurants and a little beach (by far our favourite of the restaurants is just at the bottom of the hill from the house, it is a real 'locals' sort of place but to our surprise seemed to cater best to the couple of vegetarians in our party, the food is simple but fantastic and the prices are extremely reasonable) Nearby Laveno allows you to easily take trips on the ferry (with or without your car) - north to Switzerland, to the other side of the lake to visit Orta (for example). It is also home to one of our favourite gelato shops of the trip :) Thank you very much Veronica for making our first trip abroad with our daughter such a memorable one! As others have mentioned definitely bring mosquito repellent (not only for around the house, but the lakes in general)

We had a really nice week at Veronica's house in May 2016. The interior is very stylish but also functional and we had a lot of space for the kids. All rooms are very clean and everything was working nicely. The house is on a huge property, 9000sqm, and the only other house on there is Veronica's private house. There is another huge garden in front of the garden shown on the pics that the kids used for playing badminton, frisbee, hide&seek. Down in the village, Cerro, we found a really nice pizza place at the Lago Maggiore with pretty reasonable prices. There are also a few other bars and a very good ice creamery. In total, we really enjoyed the visit a lot and totally recommend it

Veronica's house is great. The interior design is stunning. Every room has a bathroom in a different style and color. The house was very clean. The surrounding is also amazing, the park with the trees and the berries was very nice. We spent very relaxed summer days and enjoyed our vacation with the whole family a lot. We would only bring more mosquito repellent next time if visiting in summer. :-)

We stayed for 6 nights at this lovely house and we enjoyed it very much! The house is well organized, warm and very aesthetic. The kitchen is comfortable and well equipped. The house has a beautiful yard, which the kids enjoyed very much. Veronica and Dario (which we did not meet), were very helpful and attentive with all our needs. Also, they generously offered us to pick vegetables from their garden, which we enjoyed very much. The house is located near a small town called Cerro and not too far from Laveno. In order to travel to the other side of the lake one have to take the ferry (or to drive all the way around). Over all, we had a great time!
