The space

This apartment is one of the few historic apartment buildings that remain in Downtown Nashville. It boasts vaulted ceilings, original hardwoods and large bright windows that bring in tons of natural light! It is also one of the few places to stay where you can walk to most attractions.

Guests have access to the entire apartment, the front porch and back patio - perfect for people watching!

I love that everything is within walking distance! Shopping, dining, nightlife and attractions.

Taxi cabs frequently pass by on Broadway, but I recommend Uber or Lyft. Street parking is available, both free and metered.

The kitchen is fully functional and there are board games for an easy night in! The second bed is a very comfortable pullout sofa in the living room, but there is a door for privacy and a closet for personal items. Guests are encouraged to clean any dishes used during the stay and pile up dirty linens and towels. This helps keep cleaning fees low!

Interaction with guests

I will send lockbox codes day of once the apartment is ready to access. I am always available if needed, but take a rather hands off approach to give guests their privacy.

Thanks Kate, great place! Everything was lovely and just as described, perfect for our 3-day conference in Nashville and much better than staying in the hotel! Only recommendation is wifi was slow, but should be an easy fix for the next person.

Location is perfect!! Located in Midtown which is a really fun spot to check out while in Nashville! The apartment is very old so bathroom is extremely tiny! But there are extra mirrors in the bedroom, so if you are with other females, you can easily get ready in one of the other rooms. The only issue I had was difficulty sleeping due to the window air conditioner.. made a really loud clicking noise throughout the night (even while off) in the bedroom and is obviously loud when it turns off and on in the middle of the night. If you're not used to that, maybe bring a loud white noise or ear buds! Overall, enjoyed the stay here and thought it was reasonably priced given the location and with it being a weekend!

Apartment is run down but that's expected for an older building. Gives it character. Wasn't as clean as expected especially the floors and some areas of the kitchen. The a/c unit in the bedroom was noisy and made a clicking noise throughout the night. The living room is really cute. The location is pretty good. Surrounded by many restaurants. Walking distance to Vanderbilt and to main bar section of broadway. If you prefer not walking, rideshare is really cheap to these areas.

Great location and good sized apartment. It is in a very busy area so be prepared to hear bars till around 3am. Could be cleaner but given the location it's great to see the sites via an uber/taxi.

Great location. Cute & tidy apartment with no frills. Right next to live music venues so at night.

Kate's place is very ideal when you want to visit Nashville. It's right in the middle of everything. My friends and I did have a good time, however we did encounter some problems, the biggest issue being the toilet. We had a hard time with it from the moment we checked in and couldn't flush it. Read a few reviews previously and saw that that's been a problem for awhile now & it really should be fixed. We were able to manage but that really shouldn't be an issue to begin with. The towels weren't all that clean either, but again, we managed fine though I just recommend bringing your own towels. Overall, despite some of the issues, we had a decent experience.
