This self-contained granny flat is perfect for a quiet weekend away or to use as a base from which to explore the beautiful surrounds of Mahia, Morere and Waikaremoana. Relax in a hammock in a shady corner of the garden or cool off in the Wairoa river across the road. The supermarket, community gym and pool are within a 2 minute walk. Explore further afield on foot for a stroll down the main street and along the gorgeous riverside walkway.

The space
The bedroom, living area and kitchenette, and bathroom combine to make a compact, simple space that is all yours to enjoy for the duration of your booking. Private access is down the side of the house - there is a small, decked area off the flat front door which is perfect to enjoy the morning sun. Feel free to utilise the space in the large front garden, hang the hammock out and enjoy the shade, or help yourself to the plentiful grapefruits on the tree.
