The space
We aim to give you a four star hotel experience (minus 24 hour concierge!) The front room, with en suite, to the right, inside the front door, gives you ease of access and maximum privacy, with digital locked access to house and room. The windows are double insulated with heavy French pleated blinds, providing a very quiet space. French doors open onto the sunny verandah, with table and chairs. A comfortable double bed. A large Wifi Chromecast enabled TV, with unlimited fibre optic internet access. USB plugs with each wall socket. Cabinet/desk and chairs, plus coffee and tea (& tiny fridge) making in the room.

Kingsland is an inner city vibrant multicultural suburb with its own village atmosphere, cafes, bars and restaurants - 2 minutes walk. Dominion Rd, with so many Asian eateries and only 8 minutes walk, could be called Chinatown. There is an abundance of cafes, bars and restaurants, but also a supermarket. Buy in meals can be delivered with ease. The train to Downtown City Centre by the Waterfront (Britomart Train Station). This train also takes you to Newmarket for Rialto Cinemas and top range shopping.
The bus takes you to Mid-town by the historic Civic Theatre.

Brian and Caril are now delighted to share a room in their family home with guests. While living near Eden Park we are more liberal, cultural and political in our interests. We have fine art on our walls, and eagerly anticipate the many arts festivals our lovely city offers. But of course we love to host sports tourists. As much as is feasible we run the home and live to have as little adverse impact on the environment as is possible.
