Welcome to Snowmass Village! Stay in my cozy room at the base of North America's premier ski resort. This beautiful haven sits at the epicenter of the world's best outdoor recreation, while also providing a zen & peaceful retreat if that's what you desire. The pad is walking distance to everything in Snowmass, and is a short free bus ride from the unparalleled luxury of downtown Aspen. I keep the space absolutely immaculate and believe this is the best value Airbnb in the whole area!

The space
My space will wow you with its cleanliness, positive energy and attention to detail. Step in and enjoy the spa-like presence of atomized lavender, peppermint & eucalyptus essential oils (or none at all, if you prefer.) There is a large living space with a couch and two chairs, a large flat screen TV with xFinity cable and full Smart TV/Netflix capabilities. There is a dining area with seating for four and a fully stocked kitchen that you are welcome to use if you leave it the way you found it :)

Your private bedroom is airy and spacious with a luxurious king bed, private ensuite bathroom, well-lit sitting area, ample storage, and tons of natural light. Enjoy access to a Keurig coffee maker in your guest suite if you'd like to start your day with a fresh brew.

Common areas include a tastefully furnished living room with TV, modern kitchen that you are welcome to use, dining table with seating for four, and a balcony with sweeping views of the local mountains.

The entryway includes a closet where you're welcome to stash your skis & gear, and theres a fireplace if you (or your gear) need to warm up and dry out.

Guest access
You'll have access to my whole place except for my bedroom and bathroom.

Other things to note
This condo has two bedrooms -- the one you'll be staying in, as well as my bedroom which I share with my roommate. The walls here are quite thin so a small amount of noise is to be expected. My roommate and I are very conscientious to minimize noise while guests are sleeping and we hope for the same in return. If this doesn't sound like your cup of tea, I have several other Airbnbs on my profile that you can book and have the whole place to yourself.

Location

Snowmass Village, Colorado, United States

To me, Aspen/Snowmass is an unparalleled destination where limitless outdoor recreation meets magnificent luxury to create an experience unlike any other.

One minute you can enjoy world-class skiing, hiking or mountain biking. The next, you can slide, step or pedal to five star restaurants, bustling nightlife, craft breweries, designer shopping, art galleries, live music, legal cannabis and so much more.

For outdoor activity in the summer, my favorite local hikes are Crater Lake/Maroon Bells (Easy), Cathedral Lake (Medium), Buckskin Pass (Hard) and the Four Pass Loop/Maroon-Snowmass Wilderness Loop (Grand-Daddy 27 Miler). You can find all these trails on Alltrails.com or the AllTrails App.

My favorite mountain bike trails in Snowmass are Deadline, Rim Trail and Valhalla. In Aspen, my favorites are Sunnyside and Hummingbird. In Carbondale/Basalt my favorite is Father of Ginormous.

In the winter, you can come for four days and ski a different resort every day. Here’s the lowdown on the ski resorts: Snowmass — biggest resort with the most terrain. Lots of beginner/intermediate slopes but also plenty of advanced/expert terrain. Buttermilk — great for families with lots of beginner terrain. Also great for park-rats. This is where they hold the X-Games every year. Aspen Mountain/“Ajax” — great for advanced/expert skiers with lots of steep terrain. Not great for beginner/intermediate skiers. Great for the “Aspen” experience where you can ski right into town and experience the Après scene. Aspen Highlands — world class terrain with the famous “Highland Bowl” and “Deep Temerity” chair which offer an incredible slackcountry experience for advanced/expert skiers.

My favorite stores/restaurants/places in Aspen are Local Coffee House for breakfast, Big Wrap for an inexpensive lunch, Pyramid Bistro for a healthy dinner, Belly Up for intimate live music, Aspen Billiards for a game of pool or shuffle-board and finally Peter Lik’s incredible photo gallery. In Snowmass, I like Fuel Cafe for light fare and Il Poggio for fantastic upscale Italian food. If you’re downvalley in Basalt and want some incredible food, I recommend checking out Tempranillo.

I love being outside, being active, creating art, and sharing great experiences with great people.
During your stay
I'll typically be available during your stay if you'd like to hang out, or pick my brain for local/outdoor advice. I am flexible and want your stay to be as comfortable is possible -- if you need anything, I'll be here. If not, I will respect your privacy. Keypad entry is available if you want to just head to your room and have minimal interaction with me. However, I love this private room listing (versus my other entire place listings in the area) as it gives me an opportunity to personally provide hospitality to travelers and get to know new people. See my amazing reviews on this listing to get a sense for what others' experience has been.
