Stay in style! Quiet 2 room apartment near the riverside and only around 10 minutes to the central tourist spots by public transport. Ideal for three or four friends, or a family of up to four.

The space

Stylish apartment on a quiet street only 1 minute walk to the riverside and only around 10 minutes to the central tourist spots by Prague's super efficient public transport. Apartment newly refurbished in April 2017.

Journey times by public transport to the important destinations from our local tram stop are approximately:

4 mins International train station Holesovice (to Berlin/Dresden)
10 mins Central train station Hlavni Nadrazi (to Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava)
11 mins Wenceslas Square, Muzeum
13 mins Old Town, Obceni Dum, Palladium, Namesti Republiky
9 mins Central bus station Florenc
9 mins O2 Arena (music concert venue)
5 mins Vystaviste Expo Centre
14 mins Prague castle

At peak hours trams leave the nearby stop every 3 minutes. Even between 00:00 and 05:00 am trams leave every 15 minutes. The stop is just 2 minutes walk from the apartment.

The apartment has 2 separate rooms for sleeping; a fully fitted kitchen with cooker/oven, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, and kettle. And a bathroom with bath , shower and washing machine.

The main bedroom has a comfortable King Size bed (180cm by 200cm), a 2 seat leather sofa to relax on, and a large fitted wardrobe for storing clothes and suitcases etc.

The second room has a stylish living area with a 3 seat leather sofa and a leather chair, 32 inch LED TV, coffee table, a dining table with 4 chairs, and modern panel curtains with 'day and night' privacy blinds and black out curtains if you need it.

The second room also has 2 single beds, so guests have the flexibility of privacy in separated rooms and comfort.

There is a small private balcony for smoking.

Parking - there is a public car park in the next street, 5 minutes walk from the apartment. It costs 150czk per 24 hours (around 5 euro), or 400czk per week (around 14 Euro). I advise to check in first to drop your luggage, and park the car afterwards.

Guest access

You will have 2 sets of keys and have access to the whole apartment and a small balcony/smoking area.

No entry to other area in the building. The doors are alarmed for security.

Doug’s place was a very nice and cosy apartment. Clean, big and very well located in an quiet neighbourhood. A great location to visit the old and new towns and easy to reach with public transport. Doug provided us with city maps, a telephone number of the AAA taxi company (great service and good prices) and tickets foor the metro. Thanks for everything Doug. And one final message from the girls -> the Wifi wa(URL HIDDEN)R!!!

Doug was very flexible and friendly when we arrived on a late flight to check us in, whilist providing handy tips and maps of the area. We didn't require Dougs assistance during our 5 night stay as his apartment is all in working order.

The host provided us with information about everything in the apartment as well as things to do nearby. The neighbourhood was pretty and quiet, but that doesn't mean there was no nightlife. We found a nightclub just a couple of blocks away with great music and low prices, as is usual in Prague. The old town as well as bigger shopping centres were a short walk away. Overall a lovely place to stay.
