I have been hosting for several years and love meeting diverse guests while sharing my Oakland Cottage. We often take advantage of the California outdoors with hiking, swimming, and sampling all of the great restaurants and farmers' markets in Oakland and beyond. We are hard core foodie, so if you're looking for tips on great Oakland restaurants , in SF, or in Napa, we can help you out. The house is small, pretty quiet and low-tech. We have a one-year-old Great Pyrenees Dog (Charlie) and he is a gentle giant. Our recent guests adored him and dogs that have stayed with us all got along very well. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen and it is has everything one could need.
If you're new to the Bay Area, we offer many brochures about local excursions, parks, etc. Just ask and I'm sure we can help you out.
