My neighborhood is quiet and safe; it is nested between two parks. It is a walking distance to a shopping mall. restaurants and food stores, banks and beauty salons, Forest Glen metro station. It is only a mile to 1-495/95; 30min. to Dulles Airport and Baltimore /Washington Airport.

I came to America when I was fourteen. Went to college. got a BS in biology. Did some graduate work at Middlebury college, Georgetown U. in DC and John Hopkins.. Taught high school for two years. Married a Foreign service officer.. we were abroad for fourteen years. Loved it. As Cultural Affair Officer, we did a lot of entertaining.and met amazing people from all over the globe. We have three wonderful, open-minded and successful children: one lives abroad (Barcelona); the daughter is in Kenneth Square, Pa. and the oldest, a businessman/artist lives in Cambridge , Ma I am divorced now. My interests are: politics in order to bring more equality, justice and compassion to our evolving democracy; the environment;to minimize the damage done to our planet and transformation to create harmony, peace and unity with our global family.. I have a wide range of interests. I love anything of beauty: nature, music, architecture, well written book, abstract paintings that make the spirit soar, books that bring deeper understanding of the world we 're living in, However, my favorite thing is to gather with friends and family for a great meal that last for hours, discussing and exchanging ideas As a hostess, I would want to make you feel at home, to give you all the privacy you desire and be available to accommodate you in all the ways I can so you may know and love this fabulous area so rich in history and powerful in its impact on nations . I would want to show you some of my favorite places to include the Museums, Brookside Garden, Old town Alexandria. My life motto is : Embrace all thee is and resist nothing. .
