Lovely crisp cotton bed linen, duvets or blankets to suit the time of the year, pocket sprung mattresses, big bath sheets and Molton Brown toiletries. Plenty of English tea from Tregothnan, real ground Fairtrade coffee, fresh milk, home-made biscuits

The space

The Old Joinery is slap bang in the middle of the village, a few moments walk from local pub and church.
Our rooms are bright and clean and equipped with supplies of tea, coffee, biscuits, etc. Big white fluffy towels and good quality toiletries are also to hand.

Guest access

In addition to your bedroom and bathroom the dining area is available for breakfast only. Outside there is an area (accessible via a few steps) of garden with table and chairs. This can be used by smokers.

Interaction with guests

If we can help with transport to/from local rail stations, wedding venues, etc we are more than happy to do so. If you are cycling or mountain biking we can lock your bike up overnight and happy to provide buckets and sponge for cleaning!

Other things to note

We have a rather old black cat, she is short haired but if you have allergies please be aware - and remember to keep bedroom door shut or you might have a furry visitor in the night!
We reserve the right to change your room should this be necessary.

The Old Joinery is a beautiful house in a charming village. Its location was ideal for us to stay for a wedding at Ridge Farm round the corner. Jane and Andrew are fantastic hosts who could not have done more for us. Our room was clean and comfortable with a good shower. Jane cooks a mean breakfast and her homemade cookies are sooooo good! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Jane is a very friendly and responsive host. plenty of communication and information on location/property. I booked on behalf of one of my colleagues who gave me very good feedback on the host and the B&B and requested that he stay here for an extra night the following week :). overall experience was great!

We had a great stay in a beautiful village with fantastic hosts! We were going to a wedding in nearby newdigate, and they were more that happy to give us a ride up to the church on the morning of the wedding! Breakfast was masterful, couldn't ask for much more really!

A really warm welcome from Andrew and Jane. The room and service was wonderful. A super comfortable room with tea coffee cookies and an amazing cooked breakfast the next morning. I can't wait to visit again next year.

Hello Jane Thank you for another very enjoyable stop over. I was pleased that Pam found the breakfast as good if not better than I had described to her before our arrival! Best Wishes. Neal
