Our bright and bonnie flat combines the features of a historic building with all the conveniences of a modern apartment. The city's main attractions are moments away as are a host of traditional and contemporary places to eat and drink.
Our third-floor apartment (there are steps!) is in a historic B-listed building just off the Royal Mile in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town Conservation Area, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The location is ideal for visitors to the city with the main railway station (and the nearby bus and tram links to the airport) less than five minutes walk away. Once here you have Edinburgh Castle, St Giles Cathedral, Holyrood Palace and the Parliament along with the city’s best galleries and museums right on your doorstep. On Jeffrey Street (and it’s continuation, St Mary’s Street) you’ll also find yourself right in amongst the many wee shops and fuel stops that make the Old Town special.
LIVING AREA: The accommodation is bright and spacious with an open plan kitchen-dining room as the main living area. The kitchen is fully equipped including fridge, dishwasher, gas hob, electric oven, microwave and clothes washer. The vintage country-kitchen table and chairs will support all your dining needs, while the sunny and comfortable window seat is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the Old Town skyline. Free WiFi broadband internet connection. Hi-fi with iPhone dock.
BEDROOM: A beautiful, light room with sumptuous king-sized bed (anti-allergy duvet and pillows), wooden French-style wardrobe, working stripped pine shutters and partial view to Calton Hill.
SITTING ROOM: A cosy room with comfortable sofa (folds out to double bed with pocket-sprung mattress) ornate cornice and traditional fireplace (not in use). Views to the Royal Mile. TV/DVD player.
BATHROOM: Traditional clothes pulley and wooden dado panelling are complemented by contemporary fixtures and suite including bath and over-bath shower (great hot water pressure from on-demand Combi boiler). Towels provided.
Please note there is strictly NO SMOKING in the apartment.
A travel cot and bedding as well as a high chair are available for those visiting with an infant.
Guests have exclusive access to all areas of the apartment.

I like to greet my guests upon arrival and settle them in and am also available thereafter for whatever assistance or advice I can offer.

Please note that the apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator.

No smoking, no parties/partying. Please be considerate of the neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum, especially if leaving or entering the building/apartment in the evening or at night.
