Impeccably furnished, clean, and well-stocked, showcase home and beautiful country property. Roomy suite and as much privacy as wanted. Nancy and her husband were very kind and hospitable, above and beyond. Very sweet people. Great communication. Highly recommend.

Nancy and Ron were wonderful hosts. My suite was peaceful, immaculate and so comfortable. Horses and dogs made it feel like home. I'm definitely booking again when I come back next year. I was working out in the rural area so it made the place perfect for me. It wasn't even a long drive into Oregon City. It's a perfect spot for one or two people.

Our (my wife and I) first adventure using airbnb was an extraordinary experience. Ron and Nancy are gracious hosts who engaged superbly at our discretion. The Powell's property/offering uniquely combines the privacy of a rural setting (quiet and peaceful) and separate apartment within a home - not a house but a home. The Powell's made my wife and I feel at home while giving us all the space we wanted. We enjoyed nearby visits to Portland (coffee, eateries, Saturday market at PSU) and day trips to the beach (Tillamook Coast to Astoria), wineries south (McMinnville) and NE (Hood River), Columbia Gorge (Multnomah Falls and Bonneville Dam) and Mt Hood National Park (Bagby Hot Springs). We did not require the use of the wheelchair accessible features in the apartment, however, can validate the existence of same and spaciousness of the apartment to accommodate all guests comfortably. The horses (2) and dogs (2 - one a puppy) are beautiful and friendly - available for the loving attention of guests as desired since they are in a separate location on the property. If animals are your thing, you can't get enough of the horses and dogs ... if not, no worries you may not even see them. Refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker all included conveniently in the apartment. We unequivocally recommend the Powell's as hosts and the apartment in their home as a great place to stay.

This was my daughters first time staying in an Airbnb and Ron and Nancy's place was such a quiet beautiful place to stay that she had such a wonderful time! The accommodations are so relaxing and lovely, the bed was so comfortable, and we cannot say enough great things about Ron and Nancy. Such kind, down to earth people! By far one of my favorite places to stay!

An awesome location for the tree climbing class we were taking with Tree Climbing Planet just 10 minutes away. Only about 15 minutes from historic Oregon City and lots of great restaurants and bars. Super nice people, quail and rabbits running everywhere. Had just what we needed for cooking quick breakfasts and they included lots of free snacks in the room

I am an active grandmother of 2 little granddaughters and a grandson! My husband of 47years, Ron, and I are lucky to have a daughter that is a flight attendant for United Airlines! This means we are able to travel extensively and inexpensively.
We live on a farm with Tennessee Walking horses, an English Cocker Spaniel and a German Short hair pointer in Oregon City, Oregon. I enjoy riding and travel. Ron is a gourmet cook, writer and painter. After retiring in 2016 from a solo medical practice he continues working as CEO and medical director of an independent physician association. We look forward to hosting stays at our Airbnb and visiting other Airbnb's on our travels!
