We were very well taken care of when we stayed with Jacqueline. She made sure we had everything we needed and the space is very relaxed. We even had a deer walk past the back door! Lovely.

Jacqueline and Ed were the best! Not only did they provide delicious, home made, organic, gourmet breakfast every morning, Jacqueline offered to pick us up and drop us off every day! Ed led us on a stellar mountain bike ride right from the house. I would definitely stay here again. Good, peaceful energy here.

Response from Jacqueline:
Amelia and her business colleague/friend were perfect guests for the outdoor surroundings, local festivals, scenery, mountain biking and hiking of Boulder. They were very savvy in not having to rent a car, and from our location, it was easy to drop them off in the downtown Pearl Street area. We would welcome them back in a heartbeat, and hope they can return and see so much more that they could not cover in a 3 day weekend!

Jackie the host was so warm and inviting. The home was clean and beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was very good and accommodating to our gluten and lactose free diet! The best part of our visit was it felt like we were visiting family. Great experience and location to Boulder.

Jacqueline User Profile

Jacqueline has been a Reference and Research Librarian in D.C., California, and Colorado. She is currently a one on one counselor/volunteer.She loves gentle yoga, easy hiking, birdwatching, and mini-vacations. Her partner, Ed, is a retired computer nerd who is passionate about health issues, both personal, national, and global.
Ed is an amazing "older" mountain biker. We both have been involved in advocacy volunteer positions for folks with disabilities, medical, and aging issues. We are nurturers but know that some visitors just want space and unwinding. Both of us love concerts, have very eclectic music tastes, quirky comedies(Monty Python?),and all that a place like Boulder has to offer. We have lived in Boulder for 35 years --- so ask Jacqueline or Ed a question, and then tell us you just want a brief answer or it could get crazy!
