This sweet spacious kitchenless studio is ready to spoil you with high ceilings, queen bed, luxurious shower & sitting room. It has independent entrance, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster... 2 blocks to heart of Inner Sunset, 4 blks from UCSF.

The space

The Orange Suite is a convenient, kitchenless studio on the 3rd floor of my house! It offers a comfy firm queen bed, a new bathroom and fixtures, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, espresso maker, as well as the sweetest sitting area in orange you ever will see – with couch, chairs, bean bag chair and tv. I love spending time under the cozy slanted ceilings!

PARKING - Street parking in the neighborhood is usually good, there is no parking space with the unit.
(Also this is good to know for most neighborhoods in San Francisco: There is a 2 hour limit weekdays from 8a-6p. Effectively what this means is you have to move your car if the tire is marked between 10am and 4pm. Overnights and weekends there is no time limit.)

Guest access

Washer/Dryer available for your use on same floor.

UCSF only 4 blocks away.

Interaction with guests

I am happy to answer any questions in person or via text, you'll probably want me to stop making suggestions for things to do and places to try, and hearing people's stories makes me exceedingly happy.

Other things to note

There is a lovely espresso maker and hot water kettle for your morning americano, espresso shot or tea. A small refrigerator, toaster and a microwave are also there for your use.

If you want to go to Alcatraz, book your tickets as soon as possible, it almost always sells out days or weeks in advance.

This was a great space. Clean and modern. Although there is no stove, it was nice to have a microwave and a fridge available.

What a perfect studio for two. Great set up for an afternoon or evening of stay at home however the location was so central that we found ourselves out most of the time. Public transportation is so simple and convenient and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. The accommodations are beyond expectations. The shower was the highlight for my husband who is 6'4".

Two words - BOOK NOW. Another two words - great space! Absolutely loved our stay at the Orange Suite. The pictures cannot capture how comfy and beautiful the space is. PROS: - close to food spots - close to Golden Gate Park - compact but spacious space - quite and safe neighborhood - abundant outlets - netflix/hulu - no more boring show selection CONS: - on the 3rd floor If you are like us and you like to try new food spots, this is your place. From coffee shops to bakeries, from vegan places to meat-lover places, you've got it all (although I can't say if the vegan places are good because I am a hardcore meat-lover). If you get hungry in the morning or later in the evening, you can just walk 2 blocks north of Kelly's place and you'll be surrounded by food! The neighborhood is safe and quite (with occasional loud-engine cars passing through) so walking on the streets any hour of the day is no issue at all and you feel safe and secure while snoozing away. For our whole stay we used Uber to get around and since the street the Orange Suit is on has low traffic (practically empty in the morning and evening), getting spotted and picked up by our Uber driver was super easy - no need to constantly track down the driver or cross a busy intersection (TIP: if you don't want to deal with finding parking, use Uber during your stay). Also, a massive pro for this place is that the Golden Gate Park is just an 8 minute walk. No need to worry about driving or finding parking, all you have to do is walk for 8 minutes and you are there! If you get hungry after exploring the park, there are plenty of food spots you can try on the way back. Since I wanted to be a tourist on the extra, I had badgets and what not with me and having all the outlets spread around the suit was very helpful. No more fighting over that one outlet in the room! It was such a happy accident that our plans changed for this trip and we ended up staying at Kelley's place. We would have been in the middle of nowehere, worrying about driving everywhere and struggling to find a parking space, but instead we got to stay at this quite, stress-free and absolutely cozy environment. I would totally stay here again on our next trip to San Francisco, hands down!

My name is Kelly Riggio, I am a graphic designer who has lived in the Inner Sunset in San Francisco for the past 16 years, and I finally get a chance to host newcomers to my neighborhood and give them the lowdown on the things I love here the most!

I come from a restaurant family, and enjoy helping people have memorable experiences that don't come from a cookie-cutter. My goal in being an Airbnb host is to provide a safe, beautiful, comfortable space in my house that leaves my guests flexibility to come and go when they want, with an option to connect to someone who loves this town and wants to show outsiders the inside!

Favorite Travel Destinations are: Italy, Ireland, Istanbul, Cooper Island in the BVI, the Yucatán, Senegal.

Technically I am way too old to love Harry Potter, but what can I say, I bought the last book of the series when I happened to be in London the day it was released (no, I did not wear a costume to buy it, tempting though it was!), and finished it on the flight home to the states. Other authors one shouldn't live without are Diana Wynne Jones, C.S. Lewis, William Gibson, J.R.R Tolkien, Larry McMurtry, Tamora Pierce, Roald Dahl & Lynda Barry (who is funkqueen of the universe).
