This 2,000 sq. ft. loft offers a modern and spacious place for you and your guests. Located in a 19th Century Wireworks Mill, the stone building also houses an art gallery, studio and venue restaurant with a dining patio. The Washington Post described the building as, “Beautifully rebuilt and completely contemporary."
Enjoy your stay in this comfortable, large Loft space at the base of two mountains where plenty of original artwork makes for a dynamic focal point throughout the building.
The Loft is a 2000 square foot, two-bedroom apartment. The main bedroom features a queen-sized bed and the sleeping loft has three twin-sized beds along with a queen sized-bed. The apartment is fully furnished, and includes a full kitchen, laundry and a luxurious, modern spa like bathroom. This property has a no-smoking policy and 'pets considered' policy.
The Wireworks Mill Loft features a cast iron pellet/corn stove and plenty of off-street parking. The apartment also offers cable television, Wi-Fi access, DVDs and a CD player for relaxing indoors. Guests can cook on site in the fully-equipped kitchen and the outdoor dining patio at the base of the mountain. The building also houses over 4000 square feet of art gallery space and the works of acclaimed artist and co-owner Victor Stabin as well as other renowned visiting artists. The restaurant in the building is currently only open for special events.
There is a large 60 x 40 ft room just outside of the loft that guests often enjoy, especially if they have children who will be stuck inside due to inclement weather. Also, in better weather, guests may enjoy relaxing in the gardens in back of the building. Additionally, we welcome guests to spend time in the gallery spaces on the first floor.

I have lived in this beautiful, little town since 2003 and have come to appreciate it more and more each year. We are at the base of two mountains and as an avid trail runner, I never seem to run out of trails to discover and explore.
My husband Victor is an artist and we bought this incredible old stone factory in 2004 and spent the last decade fixing it up to include and art gallery, studio space a restaurant (now only open for special events) and a loft apartment.
We hope that you will take some time to learn about Jim Thorpe, PA and all it has to offer to people who love the outdoors and just seeing a town that looks like it belongs in a snow globe, surrounded by mountains and streams and lakes.
We love old buildings, craft beer and traveling to spend time with old friends and new. We hope that you will appreciate our space and come back again to visit in the near future!
