Great location but extremely noisy due to adjoining restaurant and bars - bring earplugs if you want sleep!!!! Apartment dated could do with upgrading such as air con unit which is makeshift in bedroom window resulting in more noise as window cannot now be closed. Outside balcony a plus.
This apartment is wonderfully located in the old town (the cute, quaint part of antibes where everyone vacations) right on the edge of the old town. It's ideal because the central plaza for the old town is a five minute walk but it's also as close as you can get to the train station while also being in the old town (you will appreciate it when you are lugging bags). It's also convenient for Day trips by train- we went to Monte Carlo, Eze, and Villefranche Sur Mer. If you want to go to sleep early you won't have a problem because it's right around the corner from the cafes and we couldn't hear anything. We had our toddler with us and appreciated the ease of access to Gravette Beach (plage de gravette). It's only about the length of one long city block to the beach, which is nice if you have young children and are lugging beach gear. There are three other beautiful beaches in a ten minute walk and a beach club on one of them if you want to experience one. There's also a Carousel and an outdoor jewelry market and several cafes less than half a block away. We people watched and drank rose on the balcony when our daughter went to bed. If you are a boat fan, you can see hundreds of boats docked on the walk to the beach.
Overall, the stay at Isolines well located apartment was very good. Isoline was an attentive host and addressed the issues we had quickly and very kindly accomodated our early check-in and late check-out. Pros: -excellent location, close to all bars/restaurants/5 minutes to plage gravette (not the nicest beach in Antibes) and 15 minutes to plage salis (much nicer) -good communication from host -good household amenities in the kitchen and bathroom (although the iron was apparently stolen and needs replacing) -great little balcony for watching the patrons of Mamo and morning coffee -full size fridge/freezer -very nice spacious bathroom Cons: -noisy at night. *obviously this not the hosts fault whatsoever* but you should be aware you will have a parade of hooting and yelling bar goers going past your windows and echoing off the stone walls every night. It usually kicks in around 11pm-3am If you're a light sleeper, this might make it tricky to sleep. Even with windows closed it's pretty annoying. As others have said, it's a reasonable trade for being so well located and hopefully you're out late as well ;) -the wifi went down for a few days, the host was helpful and proactive in helping get it fixed, and it eventually came back up. The speed was good when it worked Overall, I would recommend this place purely based on location and amenities.
