This is the second time we stayed at The Nest - the first time was two-and-a-half years ago, and we couldn't wait to go back. Not only is the Nest such a sweet and thoughtfully arranged space, but because of the cedar (I think), it has this wonderful aroma that makes the whole place feel relaxing like an aromatherapeutic spa. :) We really enjoy sitting outside on the deck outside the kitchen drinking coffee in the morning, staring at the trees, birds, squirrels -- sound of ocean in the distance. Jane is a lovely person, super friendly and hospitable. We'll be back!

We loved everything about the nest and Jane's property! It's only a short walk from the beach and you have plenty of beachline to walk and enjoy yourself! There is hardly any people on the beach which is a really nice change compared to places like seaside where it's packed. Jane's property has a wonderful feel to it and it was so peaceful to just sit on the deck and enjoy the morning air! The nest itself is so unique and it was amazing to stay in! It is extremely private and hidden amongst the trees and overgrowth on the property which adds a fairy tale feel to it! As for Jane, I don't think that there is a better host out there! She was so welcoming and was always trying to help in anyway she could to make your trip enjoyable! She knows all the best spots around for things like eating out, beachcombing for shells and agates, and much more so if you have any questions just ask Jane! I definitely give Jane and her Air bnb 6 out of 5 stars and hope to stay there again in the future!

Jane was a wonderful host! My best friend and I stayed in The Nest for our birthday trip get away! We loved the privacy and the beauty. Even though the bathroom is a short walk away from the room, The Nest is well worth staying in. What an amazing memory.

The Nest was the pure rustic comfort! It is so secluded and quite that it reminds one of camping (but with a bed, full electricity, a private bath, and a full kitchen).... so maybe more like rustic glamping.

The Nest is a gorgeous, magical little space nestled in a particularly lovely part of the Oregon coast. It is surrounded by long stretches of sandy beaches, trails, and forests. Just a short drive north of the Nest is Waldport, a cute little town (with a fantastic bakery!) My partner and I stayed here for two nights and loved every minute! The kitchen is fully stocked with plates and silverware. The bathroom and the Nest itself is very private - you're surrounded by trees and completely hidden. During our stay, we loved being able to get to the beach with just a short walk down the road. Jane was an incredible hostess - very kind, helpful, and just a very nice person to run into while on the property! Her chickens and dog Biscuit were also great company. This was our first airbnb experience and we know it is already going to be hard to beat. 6/5 stars!

Jane was the perfect host, communicating thoroughly leading up to, during and after our stay. It's a lovely rustic place, with easy access to the beach and the sweetest hidden octagonal cottage ("The Nest"). This would be ideal for a romantic getaway, with full privacy but still access to the communal kitchen. Location couldn't be better - as long as you know what to expect from the Oregon coast! (Bring layers . . .)

Hello. Welcome to "Wings!"
My husband and I discovered this sanctuary after landing a small taildragger at the picturesque grass airstrip nearby. We quickly realized that the place we now call "Wings" needed to become our home!
We enjoy photography, flying, the beach, birds, nature, and traveling, and we share this spot on the planet with our beloved Border Collie, matching cat, and chickens. We also welcome visiting neighborhood deer, rabbits, squirrels and chipmunks, and a large variety of birds who have made our front porch feeders and fountain their personal oasis!
We hope you enjoy staying in our home while you explore this breathtakingly beautiful stretch of the Oregon Coast.
