We had a good one night stay at Jillies. She was a great host. Would recommend big families and groups to this place as it is huge and is very quiet and secluded.

Jillie is a fabulous host and will go out of her way to make sure you have a great stay. The accommodation is huge. Ideal for large groups like ours. 16 in all. Plenty of space for the kids to run around. Our kids loved it. Very secluded spot so you can make as much noise a…

It's a huge place to stay for big groups. It was raining most o the time we lived there. So we were stuck inside. It would have been great if it was Summer. But really nice place to stay with Ur family n friends under one roof.

Host is very friendly and very helpful. The space itself is excellent, very large social areas and a large enough dining space and chairs & tables for us to seat 22 for dinner. Lovely and quiet, out of the way. Thanks very much to the host!

Me and 9 friends stayed at Jillie's for a 21st. We had a great time in a very isolated and picturesque location. We played a lot of loud music which Jillie was fine with and we appreciated loads. However, upon leaving we were told we must mop the floors and clean the toilets whic…

Unfortunately James group were a problem throughout their stay. They were a small group who paid a reduced amount based on the understanding that they may have the share the common areas of the property - such as the lounge, kitchen, and dining room with another small group. But had to be repeatedly reminded to clean up after themselves. Including the basics such as flushing toilets after they had used them. The front door was fine when the group arrive and for the first 2 days of their stay, I had a phone call from a local taxi driver requesting help at 2pm on Saturday. The group had booked a pick up at that time and he could hear that there were people in the building but he could not get an answer from them. The front door was closed, and I opened and closed it normally when I went in to gather information for him. That afternoon the group manage to break the screws holding the top hinge to the door frame. The door manufacturer's are a local company and they have never seen a case before where so much force has been applied to a door, at such a strange angle that they break the screws. The group were due to check out by 10am, I spoke to members of the group around 7am that morning, but by 10 am while their cars were in the car park and there were shoes in the drying room there was no sign of them. When I went into the property at lunch time to start preparing it for the next guests I found the group asleep in various bedrooms, which were not the ones they had been supposed to be using. They tried to avoid paying for damages done by the group by threatening that they would post a negative review unless I let them off. - I am sure that most people will read all the reviews so realise that this review does not reflect the excellent service provided to guests.

I stayed in a room in Jillie's bunkhouse recently as I was in the area for work and mountain biking. The location is beautiful and very handy for the local trails (the car park and trail heads for the Brechfa black, blue and green runs are just over a mile away and the car park f…
