The apartment is right in the heart of Oslo. It is a five minute walk to the central station and the airport express train. Also, in a fifteen minute stroll you'll find yourself at the boats taking you to the Oslo fjord is

We enjoyed staying at Hans's apartment in downtown Oslo. It was very convenient to the sights. The 30 bus line stops right outside and goes to the ship and folk museums. It's a few blocks to the opera house, central station, and Karl Johans gate. It was just a few more blocks to the Rådhus, aker brygge, and Grünerløkka neighborhood. The apartment was great. Tons of light and all of the things we needed to cook, lounge, and sleep soundly. I'd recommend it to any couples coming to Oslo.
The location of this apartment is great. Very close to Central Station but far enough from the tourists. Every morning had very loud construction happening just below in the streets. Even the the windows were closed we still heard it. All of Oslo seems to be under construction right now so that can't be helped. We couldn't check in quite as early as we had liked though we were able to hang out in a park for a few hours before Hans' associate could meet us which was still earlier than published check in time. That was very helpful. Hans offered advice for our stay and pointed out some wonderful things for our trip. Public transportation is amazing here once you figure it out. We never used the metro as the busses and trams were more useful. The bathroom towels were the most abrasive towels I've ever used, but using a patting technique avoided the discomfort of rubbing them along your body. The bed was comfortable but the sheets seem worn out and cheep with uncomfortable piling happening on the fabric. We were tired enough each night that we quickly put it out of our minds. Since it's a two floor setup with big windows (very nice!) that receive a lot of sun, the apartment got very warm. Upstairs Hans had left an air conditioner, a very large one. It's very loud but produces very cold air. Unfortunately during the first night I didn't realize it was only venting hot air back into the same room, probably making it warmer than before. Hans talked me through using a shoelace and tape to connect it with a hidden vent. Our last night was much nicer. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes when we arrived and a few bags of recycling had been left by the front door. Not a big deal as I ran the dishwasher and simply added our recycling to the bags. It would have been nice for these details to be seen to prior to our arrival however. Overall, I love the location of this apartment and with a few inexpensive upgrades and attention to detail, this would be an amazing Air BnB.
Very central and easy to get from and to main train station. Close to main shopping and cool bars. Hans has been real good, quick communication and very welcoming. The place it self is a good space and modern art. The bed is massively comfortable :). I will most definitely stay at his place again!
It was my second time at Hans' place and everything was great again. The location is great, the apartment as well ! There are supermarkets nearby and all the public transport close to the apartment. Hans is really nice and will always make things easier for you to have a great stay ! I recommand ++++
