This historical area of İstanbul, including İstiklal Street, Asmalımescit, Şişhane, Galata, Karaköy, Tophane, Cihangir and Çukurcuma, gathers all sorts of cultural activities, a vibrant nightlife, and shopping options .
So you’ll be in an ideal spot, it’s easy to get anywhere in the city since it’s very well connected with other neighborhoods. Taksim Square is at a 8 min. walk away, and the nearest metro stations is on the Taksim Square. Literally in 5 min., you’ll be in the middlle of the famous İstiklal Street with nice bars, cafés and restaurants, art galleries, bookshops and design boutiques. You are very close to Çukurcuma, famous with its special antique and vintage shops, design studios and cafes. Again, it only takes 5 minutes to walk to Tophane-Karaköy-Kabataş area, from where you can reach Galata-Şişhane area by a short walk or the ferries to cross the bosphorus, or tram lines for a short journey to the historical penunsula and Fener-Balat area.
WHAT’S SPECIAL IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD?
You will be sharing a lively and cosmopolitan neighborhood with locals and foreign residents.
The building is situated at the very center of Cihangir, almost on the Sıraselviler street, very close to Firuzağa Mosque, which is well-known with the open coffee & tea garden that is considered as the heart and meeting spot of the neighborhood.
Apart from various sorts of cafes, bars, and restaurants, there are all sorts of shops, including supermarkets, greengrocers, delicatessen shops, and a local grocery & liquor shop at the ground floor of the building right across the street, open till 4 o'clock in the morning.
WHAT ABOUT INSIDE?
Decorated by paying attention to preserve its original character, it’s a 65 squaremeters doublex apartment with high ceiling, wooden floors, and a lovely terrace.
It has two bedrooms, with a single bed in each, a living room with a pull-out couch for 2 people, a separate dining area, a kitchen, a small bathroom, and a rooftop from where you can reach the terrace.
Due to big windows which let the sunshine always in, the flat is always airy and bright.
When you enter the flat, one of the bedrooms and the living room is on your right; the other bedroom, dining area, kitchen and bathroom are on the left. By climbing the nice wooden stairs, you reach the second floor: With comfortable floor cushions, a big TV set, a small working desk this single space rooftop opens up to the terrace full of colorful flowers, a dining table and four chairs.

In the Bedrooms: Single bed, bed linens, middle size cabinet, bookselves.
In the Bathroom: Walk-in Shower, towels for each guest, hair dryer, soap, shower gel and toilet papers.
In the Rooftop: Floor cushions, armchairs, big TV set, and a nice selection of movies,
tiny desk and book shelves.
You will also find, city transportation cards that I will provide you for free.
