Great location
91% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Located 2½ miles from Wigtown, Scotland’s National book Town, Redbrae cottage is a comfortable 3 bedroomed detached cottage on the edge of a working farm.
The central location of the cottage makes it an ideal base to explore the area and enjoy the many attractions and beautiful scenery of Galloway. The accommodation is suitable for family groups as well as golfers, anglers or walkers. Or those keen to explore Wigtown Book town with its variety of book shops and cafes.

The space
Redbrae cottage has a bright cheery open plan kitchen dining area with a separate spacious lounge. There are two double bedrooms and one twin room. The property has a modern, generous shower room and a cloakroom toilet. Laundry facilities available in the utility room. Electric heating throughout and complementary WiFi included. Outside there is ample parking and at the side of the property there is a large lawned area. (The property is beside the road so small children would need to be supervised outside. )

I am a young 64 year who enjoys travelling and new experiences. I sometimes travel with my husband but also do some trips with girl friends. I like a reasonable level of comfort when on holiday but am bored by hotels which are all very similar. So I hope to find some interesting places to stay through Airbnb. My brother and I let Redbrae Cottage on Airbnb at times that we are not using it ourselves. We enjoy the relaxation that it offers and like to use the golf courses, beaches, walks and cycling opportunities available in the area as well as the many places of interest in the vicinity.
