Hello, I am Michel van Langeveld. Married in 2012 with Erzsike in Sic/Szék in Romania. Together we run a Bed & Breakfast, a museum, a dance house and we take care of the permanent exhibition of pictures of Korniss Péter. This all is situated in Csipkeszeg. One of the 3 streets/areas in Szék. Permanently I came to Szék in 2011. Already from 1990 I visited Transylvania every year. Especially to visit traditional dance camps in Kalotaszentkirály, Valászút, Gyimeskozéplok, Jobbatelke, Külsörékesin and Felsösofalva. And of course I visited Szék every year. Szék, the craddle of the Hungarian dance house movement. More and more I started liking this village and in 2004 I bought one of the beautiful blue houses there. I didn't know before but the villagers said to me that I had bought the famous dance house "táncház" from Csipkeszeg. After knowing this my life changed forever. Every vacation I did spend my time in Szék. With help of many friends, neighbors and people from Szék I restored the Csipkeszegi dance house, I build my own house and a new - bigger - dance house. As already said I came to Szék in 2011, my dream became real. And more real when I met my wife Erzsike, in a little shop, the former dance house of Forrószeg. Another dance house in Szék. When this is not a fairy tale ......
