This place is wonderful. It reminds me of my grandmas cabin. Did you know Mark built the upstairs himself and added a new roof. The vintage fridge and sink were actually found buried in the back yard and he restored them. I had the pleasure of staying 2 nights. Mark was even kind enough to let me check out a little later (however there were no guests coming after me and I wouldn’t assume he does this for everyone) just mentioning he was such a kind person and definitely put a lot of time and car into this house and it shows. Check out Fidel’s Pizza which is a half mile away. Literally the best wings and chorizo pizza I have ever HAD (and that includes Chicago and New York) his place is 3 blocks from the metro gold line and right off the 110 freeway. I got 2 great nights of sleep. Will def be back next time I’m in town. Shower was hot and even had a space heater so you feel nice and toasty when you get out. Love love LOVED this place.

If you’re in the film industry, this place is perfect. It’s old but has a lot of charm. I enjoyed my time here.

This is a cool place in a decent location. I definitely loved all of the cool old stuff on display. However, it's not the place to stay if you're a clean freak. The bathtub is gross and the water doesn't get hot. After walking barefoot, the bottom of my feet were black. But, if you can handle a bit of dirt, it's a fine place to stay and I would return if the hot water issue was rectified.

This place is indeed interesting and quirky, but I cannot recommend it for several reasons. The living space is as shown on the site, but the outside is literally a dump with years' abandoned furniture, electrical cords, dirt and a buried hot tub. There is a reason there is not a photo shown of the bathroom: dirty, littered with used toiletries, old soap tepid water when we were there. The location is good, however it need work to live up to the standards of airb&b.
