Arawa Beach House is absolutely stunning in its presentation and location - this spacious 4 bedroom (sleeps up to 8) one level Classic Devonport Bungalow is all that you would ever imagine. Think New Zealand with a twist of the Hamptons and you might get an idea of the house - an astute and creative designer created and designed the house to reflect a bygone era but with all the modern necessities for a pleasant stay - two brilliant bathrooms designed to be visually appealing but functional at the same time. This house dates from around 1924 but in the last 4 months has been totally redeveloped yet at the same time retaining the character of the era - clean lines and textured furnishings create a house that is appealing to the eye and yet practical at the same time. There is a laundry with a washing machine and dryer and direct access to the outside for sun drying.
The house is located one house from Cheltenham beach but from the back garden has direct access to Cheltenham Beach. The bedrooms and pristine and large and the beds are all very comfortable - this house is ideal for a family here on transfer or moving to New Zealand or a place for a family holiday.

Making a booking with DHH - Devonport Holiday Houses means that you have read and accept the terms, which will become immediately enforceable upon our receipt of your bo
1.1 If we identify that you have caused damage to the property or breached the terms during your stay we reserve the right to charge your credit card for damages.
2.1 No refunds are paid if you fail to turn up or decide to leave early.
3. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
3.1 Arrival time is 3pm. Early arrivals may be requested if the property is available. Whenever an early arrival is necessary we will accommodate the request if possible.
4.2 Departure time is 10am. Late departures may be requested if the property is available.
3.4 It is important to know that we are at the accommodation when you depart for an Exit Inspection. At that time we say goodbye and make sure all is as it should be and receive any feedback regarding your stay. We are there at 10:00 am on the day of your departure - if you want to depart earlier or later you MUST txt/email us - if we arrive at the accommodation and you have already departed we will be charging your credit card accordingly. We take early departures before we arrive to the accommodation very seriously. We do this in respect to the owners and as part of the Devonport Holiday Houses policy
4:USE OF THE PROPERTY
4:1 SMOKING: All Devonport Holiday Houses accommodations are TOTALLY smoke free - no smoking anywhere on the property inside or outside. If you wish to smoke it must be done on the footpath or outside the property. If we discover smoke odour in the property additional cleaning and fumigation charges will apply which will be deducted in accordance with clause 15
4:2 You must not alter the premises in any way. In particular you must not remove any items from the premises (excluding recreational equipment expressly provided). If items are removed and subsequently lost you will be responsible for the replacement value .
4:3 When making your booking you must advise us of the maximum number of guests who will be residing at the property. It is your responsibility to ensure this is adhered to. If you wish to increase the number of guests, you must obtain our approval and pay any necessary fees prior to the start of your booking. If you are found to exceed the maximum number of guests we may require you to leave immediately without any refund and/or require payment of additional fees.
4:4 If we receive information or a complaint requiring us to inspect the property during your stay a minimum callout charge of $100 (during working hours) or $250 (between 5pm and 9am) will be payable.
5:. CLEANING AND RUBBISH REMOVAL
5.1 We have a cleaning/preparation fee for all our accommodations dependent on the size of the accommodation and the length of stay.
5.2 The fee covers what we deem to be a normal level of cleaning at the property. Please be aware that you are required to leave the home in a clean and tidy state . This means ensuring a reasonable level of cleanliness, washing & storing dishes, putting all contents / equipment in the appropriate place and removing all your belongings.
5.3 You must organise all rubbish - there are either orange rubbish bags or green bins for your rubbish. You must put all the glass, cans and plastic in green/yellow bins which are provided. Before departure all rubbish must be organised.
8.4 Failure to abide by the above terms will result in additional cleaning charges.
6.1 As the person making the booking you are entirely responsible for ensuring that the terms are understood and followed by all guests at the property, regardless of whether you are there or not. By making your booking you assume total liability for any breach of the terms or damage to the property.
6.2 Use of the property is entirely at your own risk. We do not assume liability arising directly or indirectly out of your use and occupancy of the property.
Cancel up to 7 days before your trip and get a 50% refund. Cancel within 7 days of your trip and the reservation is non-refundable.
