The space

This is a spacious though rustic off the grid accommodation in the trees overlooking our farm fields to the south and the forest to the north. Fresh breezes blow through the open windows in the warm weather and the wood stove keeps the space cozy and warm in the cooler seasons. If light, air and views are what you are looking for this is the place. Working sustainable farm: vegetables, dairy goats, heritage hogs, poultry, horses, sheep and a water buffalo!
If you need more space please see our other listings; Vintage Airstream and 28' camper.

Guest access

The tree house has no electricity (lanterns are provided) or plumbing. There is a composting toilet close by and a "real bathroom" available in the house. You will be welcomed into our kitchen for your breakfast consisting of farm fresh eggs, milk, yogurt as well as seasonal fruits and fresh baked goods; juice and coffee or tea...

Interaction with guests

We are generally here on the farm working the land and our projects here on it. We hope to personally welcome you and will be available for explanations and brief tours when you find us. If you'd like a formal tour or an educational seminar on any aspect of our sustainable farming-living we would be glad to accommodate you at a small charge for our time.

Other things to note

Our daughter stays in the Tree House when she is on the farm. If it is not available when you want it, please check out our Vintage Airstream and Working Farm Providence Area Campers

Fantastic place to stay! The hosts were very friendly and they had amazingly friendly animals. The tree house was beautiful and had a comfy bed. I wish that we could have stayed longer. I would recommend staying here to anyone prepared to deal with a few animals and off-the-grid amenities.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Rosasharn Farm Treehouse! There were so many wonderful parts to our experience. This was our first time in a treehouse, and I have to say it was memorable! The treehouse is as described in the posting, but I'd like to add a bit more. We loved the floor to ceiling windows, the sliding doors with screens that allowed for a wonderful cross breeze. The bed and futon (sofa bed) were comfortable, and we especially liked the down comforters which kept us warm during the cool nights. This great getaway had a warm, at-home feeling with artwork on the wall, bookcases filled with books, and magazines which gave it a personal touch (not like a staged hotel room). We were fortunate to meet Anne and Mark. They were welcoming and wonderful hosts. We were able to engage in great conversations about the farm (them raising Nigerian Dwarf goats, the livestock guardian dogs they have throughout the farm, the college students from Brown and UMass Boston that assist with the farm needs as part of their college experience, WWoofers, interns, etc...) We saw so many animals: Nigerian Dwarf goats (from a couple of weeks old to adults), the livestock guardian dogs, other pet dogs, numerous cats, Heritage Hogs, hens, roosters, peacocks, turkeys, new guinea hens, Bill the water buffalo, sheep, horses, etc. We were allowed to pet and hold the baby goats, and we could also milk a goat! We were invited to use their kitchen to cook up a delicious breakfast in their house They provided the eggs collected from their chickens, goat milk, orange juice, various types of breads and spreads, and plums from their tree! They also had a pretty extensive selection of teas. We enjoyed this peaceful and relaxing getaway.

A wonderful and unique experience. The treehouse is small and beautiful, outfitted with a comfortable bed, wood stove, many windows and a lovely deck with a great view of the farm. Mark was a warm and welcoming host, giving us a tour of the farm even though we arrived late at night. The stay was one of our favorite Airbnb vacations. And the goats, dogs, pigs, cats and dogs deserve their own rave reviews. All in all, an unforgettable visit. Thank you!

Super cool treehouse. See what you get for sure. Super welcoming folks. Best part about this location was the farm and the wonderful atmosphere. Anne, Mark and JD were great! And the goat milk from Anne's famous goats was the best milk I've ever tasted.

Had an amazing stay at Anne's Tree house. We had our parents visiting us and they wanted to experience the Airbnb for the very first time, gladly it turned out to be a wonderful experience for them. True to it's description, the place was very rustic with many domestic animal at the farm, we thoroughly enjoyed out time away from the city. We totally recommend Anne's place for families with kids, as for the kids the farm can be a very good learning experience to farm life and relating sustainability to our day to day life. Big thanks to JD for showing us around at the farm and making our stay memorable.

By now I say I'm "from" Rehoboth. Though I didn't grow up farming, it is my chosen avocation. I love my piece of paradise here in SE Mass and love to share it with people who will appreciate it also. I love my family, my friends, my animals, my land and this great planet we all call home.
