The space

Recently remodeled and furnished, the design retains all the charm of old Santa Fe, yet has all the conveniences one expects in a modern rental.

This historic adobe is just a few minutes walk from museums, new and vintage retail, restaurants, groceries, farmers market, train rides, and parks.

Interaction with guests

Love to meet guests and always available to help with problems and questions about Santa Fe.

Other things to note

We acquired this historic property (duplex) and renovated it in 2006 for our Studio and office and an apartment for friends and family. We have re-furnished it for use as vacation rental and we also use it for trades in the US and around the world.

This small casita is in the most convenient location in Santa Fe. Really within walking distance (10 minutes or less) to the Plaza, museums, shopping, restaurants, great coffee, great bakery, Railyard galleries, and the fantastic Farmer's Market. Amazing value for this perfect location for a couple. This is the classic Santa Fe Casita-style of dwelling, and therefore we think more than 2 people might feel cramped, as there's only one small bathroom entered through the bedroom, a small kitchen, and the living room where the fold-out couch is. Overall, it was a fantastic choice for the 2 of us in our favorite neighborhood for staying in Santa Fe. If you like longer walks, you can also get to Canyon Road, probably about 20 minutes on foot, 5 minutes by car. Note that there is a small parking space in front of the unit. Our SUV just managed to fit in the space, but there's also a free parking lot across the street if needed. Outstanding choice at this price.

This is the perfect size place for a couple. Very comfortable and quaint but with excellent modern finishes in the kitchen and bathroom. The location is terrific, next to a great coffee shop and bakery, and just a short walk to the farmers market and the plaza area. It is located on a side street so we had no issues with noise or traffic. Highly recommended.

Charming little space, great location. Quiet. It's convenient to so many things. Easily walkable to Railyard and the plaza. I didn't meet David and Linda but checking in was no problem and it was very clear that they were available for any questions I might have. Is definitely stay here again!

The place is clean and comfortable. We both loved how close the location was to everything downtown. Little smaller than I had thought, but we weren't inside much to have it make much of a difference. David was very prompt in responding and accommodating with giving us a little extra time checking out.

We stayed at David and Linda's rental for a month with our 3 cats and although the place is not large, we were able to function comfortably. The unit is a duplex and they live next door and there were no sound issues. If you prefer more privacy, they are good hosts to accommodate your needs. That said, they were certainly helpful when reaching out to them and we were already living in Santa Fe so our needs were minimal. We didn't get a chance to interact with Linda, but David was very kind and flexible. He always responded to texts within a 24 hour period. The only minor things to note were; one: since the couch was a hide-a-bed, the cushions seemed to easily slide off when sitting on it for awhile and two: for those who love fresh air and have indoor pets, the living room windows don’t have screens and I don’t believe you could open them, and there was no screen door. As an alternative, the kitchen and bedroom windows had screens and were operable. Overall, we had a great experience and we would highly recommend these hosts. The location can't be beat! Thank you for a lovely stay!

David & Linda's place is a lovely home away from home in Santa Fe. The place is small and would likely be best suited for couples (the bathroom, for instance, is only accessible off the bedroom, meaning that anyone staying on the couch needs to go through the bedroom to use the facilities). David and Linda were flexible, relaxed, and kind to work with (e.g., quite comfortable with a slightly later check out once our conference sessions had finished). Easy and relaxing stay - thanks, David and Linda!

This home has so much charm and character. Very quaint and cozy. We especially loved the location. We were able to walk to plenty of shops, the main square, restaurants, cafes, Whole Foods, etc. The neighborhood was an interesting mix of old and new, historical and modern.
