We absolutely loved our stay at the Santo Beach House. It was just perfect for our family group of 3 couples and we were so sad to leave. There is everything you could want in the kitchen, lots of books and games and so many lovely comfortable places to relax. The gardens are beautiful and we spent hours sitting on the jetty watching the fish. Our daughter and her husband kayaked out to the island and saw a mother dugong and her calf. Loti was so lovely. He was there to meet us with fresh coconuts and lit a fire on the beach for us in the evening. I cannot recommend this House enough. We will certainly be back. Thank you so much Sue.

We had a marvellous stay at the beach house. The house is vast, elegant and well-furnished, the garden is neat and beautiful, the sea is absolutely perfect. The service of the gardians is both discreet and very helpful. Only one thing could have been improved: communication before arrival. Once you are there, you can only let go all stress and marvel.

This house is so well thought out as it has four equal sizes and furnished bedrooms. Great to share with friends or family. Cute little bedroom for two kids. Large central living area and massive wrap around veranda. Ceiling fans through out and well maintained mozzie screens. The location is utterly stunning, but also isolated. A good 20 mins from town, so reliable transport is a must If you arrive in the evening, bring mlk, coffee, bread etc no popping to the shop! Brilliant location for sight seeing or just swim, kayak, fish, cook etc. We are so taken with the place we plan to return for a long stay next year.

Santo Beach House was all it promised to be plus more! Lote and his wife are great caretakers and couldn't have been more helpful. The house and kitchen are really well appointed, a fact much appreciated by the two chefs in our family. We loved being able to swim, snorkel, kayak and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Thankyou for letting us share your little slice of paradise, Sue! The Black family. PS - a stand-up paddle board would be an awesome addition!

Beautiful private unspoilt location - we literally had the whole bay to ourselves, swimming in the clear warm water, kayaking to see the dugongs and islands. Lovely large tropical garden down to private beach and jetty. Fabulous colonial style house with wide verandahs strung with many hammocks & plenty of dining seating, and loads of space inside too, really comfortable. Loti the caretaker was super-friendly, quick to fix problems with the (somewhat tired) bathrooms, and he built huge beach fires for us most nights to enjoy under the incredible stars - nothing was too much trouble for him. Hobicat shown in photo sadly not in action during our stay. Great location to obtain supplies in town and from which to explore the island. Fantastic relaxing holiday - highly recommended.

We are so so lucky to have got to stay at santo beach house in suranda bay for a week. It was absolutely beautiful, with the most breathtaking views, your own beach and kayaks to explore, close enough to town but far enough to feel the serenity. I can't explain how perfect this place was for 4 couples and 3 babies. We had the most amazing time. Thank you Loti and marianne for everything you are very beautiful people. Jess and crew :)

We have had the most amazing time at Santo Beach House. We had a full house, and everything went really well. (Yes, we ran out of water once, but it wasn't a big deal). The house is so thoughtfully set up, and had everything we needed and more. Even with 3 different families staying there, we were all able to have our own space, but still had heaps of room to hang out together. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were all great. The outdoor porch was fantastic. And the beach... amazing!! It's pretty cool to go to a place where you've oohed and aahed over the photos, and then have the reality exceed your expectations. We all loved it, kids and adults alike. Was a very special holiday. Thanks so much to the family for making the Santo Beach House available. And thanks also to Loti and his family for their help during our stay. Loti was great - always willing to help, but in such a humble ni-Van way. Missing Santo already.

Passionate about travel, I discovered Santo by accident 4 years ago by being fortunate enough to stay at the beach house and it was love at first sight.
With Santo's wild beauty and Jurassic park scenery that I cannot imagine any other tropical island holiday could ever compete. The locals are the most friendly I have ever met, the food is truly organic as subsistence farming cannot afford any costly extras and the ex-pats (predominantly from Australia and New Zealand) who reside on the island are only too happy to give you tips and help you have an amazing holiday. Everyone who lives here or has visited, on the one hand, wants to share this magical island and promote tourism, but on the other, wants to keep it a great big secret so it stays just the way it is!
