This 1st floor, cozy one bedroom is perfect for those who seek a quiet, clean and restful home stay after exploring and traveling around NYC. Nestled between the Brooklyn Bridge and Prospect Park, this location is ideal for all types of traveling.
1st floor with buzzer, central AC/Heat, washer & dryer downstairs, full kitchen, full bath, newly built building with new appliances, queen size bed for couples, singles, or 2 family members/friends.
Quiet, family friendly, safe, and located in the new/old version of Brooklyn. Within 2 blocks in all directions, you will find the following: 2 corner stores, a few restaurants and bars, grocery stores (chain or local). Within 5 blocks, there is a wine store, a liquor store, and a YMCA.
This is my home, not a hotel! If you'd like a hotel experience, this is probably not the best fit. Me, my roommates, and my dog all live here. If you want a home-like experience, come on over!
Guests will have access to everything on the main/top floor (exception: washer/dryer IS downstairs upon request). Living room, kitchen, and shower will be shared with 2 additional roommates who live downstairs (their rooms and half bathroom are off limits).
Interaction with guests
I will be available to help with any needs or give any advice either in person or through messaging/texts.
I will sometimes be sleeping on the couch in the living room during guests' stay. My interaction will probably be minimal, but I am friendly and enjoy a good conversation with other friendly travelers.
Other things to note
I have a dog named Joey! He's 4 years old and is a miniature Australian Shepherd. He LOVES people, so expect him to greet you eagerly upon your arrival. Other dogs are welcome!
This is a home, not a hotel. Please be respectful of your space and of the roommates downstairs and clean up after yourselves.
Hi! I'm a 29 yr old female living in Brooklyn with a 3 yr old Mini Australian Shepherd. I'm an environmental educator: I love gardens, nature, and all living things! I love to travel when I can, eat as many cuisines as possible, and work on craft projects. This year's 2015 resolution is to run 1 race/month!
My room is cozy and my bed is super comfy. Traveling for me is packed with activities/festivities/foodies and it's always nice to be able to stay at a place where you're able to zonk out after an exhausted day, so I try to provide the same for my guests.
Plus, my dog is too adorable NOT to meet. :)
