One bedroom condo with one covered(garage) parking spot. The condo is located on a quiet side street, one block away from the beach. 5 min walk to CTA train, and 3 min walk to bus stop which will both take you downtown in about 25 min

The space

Modern condo which is best suited for a couple or friends traveling together. The bedroom has one queen size bed and the front room has a couch( not a pull out) but if needed we can add a mattress as well which will fit in the front room on the floor. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bathroom will provide towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap and toilet paper.

Basic Cable, DVR, Wireless Internet, DVD Player.

I may not be present during your stay but I will assure you have all the information you need on the table and also leave you my number should you have any questions.

Everything is close by: LA Fitness Gym, Cleaners, Liqueur Store, 2 Parks for Children, Beach, Train, Bus, Whole Foods(new- opening soon), Mariano's(5 min by car), Sushi, Thai, Jimmy Jones, CVS, Walgreen's are all within walking distance.

5 min away from CTA red line train
3 min away from CTA (phone number hidden) buses which can take you all to downtown.

Other things to note

1) The unit does not have washer/dryer. The washer is $1 and the dryer is free but they are located on the lower level of the building. My unit is on second floor.


2) Should you need to use of parking spot, it requires a daily permit to be replaced in the car every 24 hours. If the permit is not there, the car might be towed and it will be at your own expense. Will you need parking spot? Please let me know when sending inquiries.

3) For long term reservations of 3 weeks or more guest is responsible for monthly electric & gas bills which depending on the usage usually are about $100/mo combined. This will be requested as extra service charge at the end of stay.

2) Because of the nature of the building and the residents that live here, there are no parties/events to be held, and the noise level should be respectable to others. Please keep quiet especially after 10pm.

3) If you break something we expect you to fix it or replace it.

4) No unregistered guests allowed for overnight stays

5) If you use any of the pantry items please replace them upon your departure.

6) Parking in park spot #1 ONLY with the permit when requested.

Vicky was an excellent host. She responded to questions promptly and clearly communicated all details. The apartment was a nice one bedroom with a decent sized kitchen. The neighborhood was a quaint residential area 1 block from the lack and a few blocks from restaurants and stores. It was great to walk around and explore the neighborhood. I highly recommend Indie Cafe for great Thai food! It took about 15-20 min to get downtown by Uber.

Definitely will recommend staying here! Communication with Vicky was excellent. She was very accommodating and the place was perfect. The apartment is a great location for those who want some lake time and access to the city.

Hard to find a better host than Vicky. Though we didn't meet, she answered every single one of my numerous questions with respect and efficiency. She emailed/texted during my stay to make sure everything was ok. The pictures in her listing accurately represent the apt and the location for me was perfect, being near Loyola University. Access to her apt, even with her not there, was easy so fear not. Safe neighborhood and you can park on the street or in her garage. For the garage, I have Honda Pilot and it was tight squeeze getting in and of her space. If you have a larger vehicle you may be best just parking in (URL HIDDEN) permit required. Apt was nice and tidy upon my arrival and Vicky has helpful binder with things to do and visit nearby. As far as hosts go, hard to top her.
