We stayed for a 5 days at North Cottage. It is a lovely place in a lovely location. It was easy to find and a good place to discover Arran, Gigha, Skipness. Lubna is a great host and the place is lovely. Would highly recommend.

Amazing Cottage in a sublime location. Want to escape to the middle of no where, this is the answer! Local walks to the beach, exploring the forest behind and the cupboard of toys kept are kids amused for days. Lubna was a wonderful host, very understanding as we got stranded there due to car troubles! The local farmer provided us with the finest lamb sausages and the neighbours helped us out with bread and milk as we had no way of getting to the shops! Well stocked kitchen also helped. Couldn't think of a better place to get stranded! We stayed in November, dry and mild weather. Except on the Sunday, when it rained - perfect time to make use of the enormous log burner and the sauna! We will be back, hopefully with a working car!

The house is great and a real bolthole for some serious peace and quiet, the only things you hear are the very occasional car passing at the bottom of the driveway, sheep chatting away in their field next to you and birds flying around chirping, it really is amazing. The view over to Arran is stunning.
