Bea's place is an oasis of peace and tranquility amid the hustle and bustle of Ubud. The place is about 15-20min away from central Ubud by car or motorbike. We had a fantastic time in her bungalow. The place is exactly as pictured (if not better). Highly recommended for couples looking for a secluded and peaceful place. We would definitely stay again.

The property is very nice and with a short scooter ride from temples and rice terraces in Tegallalang. The bungalow is located away from the main house which gives you a sense of privacy. You will share your space a bit with a gecko, who is a local resident along with some ants but I guess that's how it is in a jungle! The road next to the bungalow gets busy and noisy with local traffic.

We enjoyed our staying at Beatrice's place, it's a very nice setting. The bungalow is cozy, equipped with everything necessary and the garden is very well tended to. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We had the great pleasure of staying here by ourselves, Beatrice and Benoit left the day we arrived. It was like getting to live in a lovely home in a splendidly planned, huge lush tropical park like garden with a ravine. We felt safe, the road could be heard a little but mostly it was a tapestry of bird bug and frog song. They have spent a lifetime collecting art and it is found in every corner of the home and garden. Everything is beautiful. There are three cats and they will be around, maybe more so for us as there was no one else around and they are social. The bed and furniture is high quality and there is a DVD player and tv to watch videos. Wifi was occasionally so-so , better up by the main house. The kitchen is well equipped, nice plates, not junk. The only quibble is the ceiling around the sitting area and kitchen is low. My husband is 6'4" or 192 cm and he had to slouch. I'm a foot shorter and it didn't affect me. But to have such nice things, gorgeous pool, wonderful palapa overlooking the ravine, expansive manicured garden all to ourselves was true luxury.

Beatrice and her daughter made us feel at home; truly a wonderful experience in Bali, the house is very comfortable, surrounded by nature. It is located about 20 min away from Ubud so you definitely need your own transport. What we really liked is, if you stay there you will see the real Bali, small villages and beautiful scenery all around. Thank you Beatrice for the stay and all the best!

We started our trip in Bali with 3 days @ Beatrices villa. 3 days became 5, because it was such a nice and quiet place. Beatrice was not there but we had a very good communication with Wayan (taxi driver - he's the best!!) and Dewa (housekeeper and very nice guy). Location is great, in the middle of the jungle, although hard to find in the dark (we got lost on our first night, so make sure to have an address or description from the villa). Only 15 mins to Ubud with a scooter, which was wonderfull to combine busy Ubud with the peace and quiet from te jungle. If you don't want to share your room with small animals (especially ants), then maybe this villa is not your place to be. But if you want a little remote place between local Balinese people, this is the place to be!! Big thank you to Wayan for taking us to the best places!

Beatrice was a really, really nice host! She showed us everything after our arrival and helped us with some nice places to visit around the bungalow! The bungalow was also very beautifull with the jungle right beside it. We even had an little companion (beautifull little gecko) how helped us with the mosquitos.. So did the two lovely cats ;) ! All in all it was a really nice stay at Beatrices home :)!!!
