We had a good stay with Jona. The location was pretty remote but it wasn't too difficult to find it. We like that it is in nature and we were lucky enough to have watched the northern lights from the deck on the first night of our stay, which we were really thrilled about. They have a hot tub which was a bonus. Place was clean and has the cottage feel we were looking for. I would recommend staying here during your Iceland trip.

Lovely rural retreat. Enjoyed sitting in the hot tub watching the horses and (EMAIL HIDDEN)fortable beds excellent stocked kitchen equipment and a new Webber Gas BBQ. Stock up on food and drinks before arriving 30mins back to a shop. We took advantage of the local horse riding and would recommend it to anyone. We loved our 2 nights here.

This house was the perfect for our group of 4. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. We cooked, grilled, went in the hot tub and watched the horses in the pasture. It was central to getting out to the south coast hot pots, waterfalls, and beaches. We had a fabulous time.

The location couldn't be beat, and the beds are comfortable. We loved the drive in. I took off a star because one bedroom was lacking a full curtain and the heater wouldn't turn off, making it too warm, but we loved everything else.

This is a cosy cottage in a lovely location. The view from the porch towards vast green fields and horses is fantastic. The cottage is very well equipped with both a dishwasher and a washing machine. The oven works excellent for bread-baking. The hot tub is a large bonus and works perfectly. We were a group of five and could easily fit in the cottage. Since there are four beds one of us slept on a mattress on the floor. But since the mattress is thick that worked very well. The surrounding location is beautiful so I can highly recommend to go on a walk or take a run on the gravel roads in the area. One of the days we drove to Gjain and that took a little more than an hour. On the way you pass Hekla. A highly recommended trip. Take the way back on the other side of Þjórsá to get even more eye candy and stunning views. Overall, a wonderful cottage in a wonderful location that is easy to reach from Reykjavik. Can only recommend! Go go go!

The cottage is situated in a remote and peaceful area and it is lovely! It was easy to find, we just followed Jona's instructions. It was very clean, very well equipped, including the kitchen. Jona was always available to answer our questions. The hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking and the view is beautiful. I definitely recommend Jona's cottage.
