Colorful one bedroom apartment, a classic Craftsman-style house in a quiet neighborhood 2 blocks from urban amenities of Capitol Hill. Spacious living room, kitchen and dining room and secluded back garden. Off-street parking is usually available.

The space

This space is ideal for 1-2 people, but there is also a sofa bed, so a family could stay here. There is a very comfortable queen size bed in the bedroom, which also has a desk and stereo, and private bathroom attached, with claw foot tub/shower. There is a laundry room with (free) washer/dryer in the basement. The kitchen has a gas stove and is stocked with many ingredients for cooking, including coffee, tea, some breakfast items, olive oil, vinegar, spices, etc.

Guest access

There will be a key in a lock box on the railing on the front porch. I will send the code to you. The space includes the living room, dining room, and kitchen, as well as the bedroom and bathroom. There is laundry in the basement. There is a driveway for one vehicle that you can sometimes use, just let me know if you need parking. It's easy to park on the street here, too.

Interaction with guests

I will be gone, but the house is a triplex, so there are upstairs and basement tenants who you may encounter outside or while doing laundry. Please do make sure you don't lock the door to the basement if you use it to access laundry!

Other things to note

The apartment is private and not shared at all with others. It used to have a shared kitchen with a basement tenant, but no longer.

Sasha's place is really nice, great size, very cute house in great street and area, in the heart of Capitol Hill which is the best area to stay when visiting Seattle (best choice of trendy cafes, restaurants and at the same time leafy pretty neighbourhood). Sasha was very helpful and would answer to all our questions immediately. I would definitely recommend to stay there when visiting the city.

Sasha and her place were amazing! Big roomy apartment great hardwood floors, lots of windows and natural light, vintage/comfortable/modern feel (complete with a turntable and vinyl collection), a nice back patio and front porch, beautiful neighborhood with shops and restaurants about two or three blocks away. Loved it! Sasha was also easy to communicate with and very helpful. We've stayed at lots of Airbnb's and this is one of my favorites!

Great spot to explore Capitol Hill; within walking distance of Volunteer Park and the Seattle Asian Art Museum. Sasha's place is adorable with a great kitchen and beautiful back deck.

Sasha's place is great! Very cute and homey with everything we needed for our stay. The location is great, right down the street from stores and restaurants on 15th Ave and close to more nightlife on Broadway. Sasha was very quick to respond to any questions we had and was nice enough to let us check in early! Highly recommend this place.

Sasha's place was exactly as described. Very cute place with lots of light, big kitchen and plenty of mirrors/space to get ready. It was clean and well-equipped. The location was also stellar. Walking distance to all kinds of stuff including a Walgreens and grocery store down the street. Sasha was a pleasure to communicate with. Thanks for the hospitality!

Sasha was easy to communicate with and was generous in allowing us to check out late. The house was clean, cute, and in a good location. I would recommend her to others.

I am a yoga teacher, dancer and musician, who enjoys traveling and the outdoorsy and cultural amenities of Seattle. I've traveled to India, Africa, Cuba, Latin America and Europe. My last great trip was to Denmark.

My home has a warm, friendly feel. It is the first floor of a house, which is mostly all to yourself, but with a shared kitchen (rarely used). I have a sweet cat named Zoe, who I usually can take with me for short trips, but sometimes is here with guests. If you are booking, let me know your preference. The house has a separate duplex unit upstairs, and the tenants are quiet, friendly and mostly unnoticeable.
