Situated in the heart of Wicker Park, on bustling Milwaukee, Damen and North Ave, you'll have ultimate access to every shop, restaurant, park, and extracurricular activity you could possibly imagine at your doorstep.

PLEASE READ:

Almost everything in the kitchen is at your disposal. (Plates, bowls, glassware, wine glasses, and flatware.) The STOVE/TOP, however, CANNOT be used for cooking meals/heating up your food. There is, however a microwave and a toaster oven for your warming pleasure.

The space

***Please note that the Champagne/Wine you see pictured DOES NOT COME with your booking. It's just a photo shoot prop.***

Ok, onto the listing....

Location, Location, Location!

Walk outside and find yourself in the midst of all of the action this trendy neighborhood could possibly pack into it.

One-of-a-kind clothing shops; vintage, eclectic, American staples, and everything in between.

Restaurants galore! Asian, Indian, Mediterranean, Japanese, American, just to name a few. Speaking of eating...

Everything in the kitchen is at your disposal. (Plates, bowls, glassware, wine glasses, and flatware.) The STOVETOP, however, CANNOT be used for cooking meals or heating or lighting anything on fire, really. Sorry for the “all caps” (it’s for you skimmers, apparently there are tons of you out there that didn't read this and went on to mention it in your review of the space!)

Entertainment:
There are popular and unique bars, live music, speakeasies, cabaret's, hookah lounges, arcades and a few independent theaters just steps from the door....

Inside the Studio:
Bottled water upon check-in. We know you’re thirsty after traveling.
Complimentary WI-FI and Roku. Connect away!

*****Almost everything in the kitchen is at your disposal. (Plates, bowls, glassware, wine glasses, and flatware.) The STOVETOP, however CANNOT be used for cooking meals or heating, or lighting anything on fire, really. Sorry for the “all caps” (it’s for you skimmers, apparently there are tons of you out there!) That being said, we have a coffee maker that you can use to, wait for it…make coffee, or run water through for hot tea. You can also pop some water in our fantastically retro-looking microwave. Stop it, there's more? Is that a toaster oven behind door number 1? Yup, and that's also at your disposal during your stay. Options are so great, right? Feel free to use anything but the stove. We love to share :)

Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided in the bathroom, as well as clean white towels and a hairdryer. You're picturing yourself here right now, aren't you?

Inside the building:
Those pesky neighbors seem to like to fill their lungs with cigarette smoke, so the corridors leading up to the apartment can sometimes smell very smokey. Unfortunately, there aren't any legal solutions to this problem. *Winky face. The smoke does not enter the studio at all, so breath freely there!

The Neighborhood:
Forbes magazine just rated Wicker Park the Fourth Best Neighborhood in the U.S. for young adults. (yes, even ahead of San Francisco) Everything is within walking distance including the Damen-O'Hare Blue Line EL stop, bus stops, yoga, gyms, tons of food and clothing options, boutiques, bars, arcades, independent theaters, art galleries etc.

Walkability score: 100
Literally, roll out the front door and bump into everything by foot.

Bus:
#56 Milwaukee comes right past your doorstep.

Train:
Hop on the Blue Line Damen Stop and head practically everywhere.

Cabs:
Plentiful to hail, or feel free to UBER/LYFT.

Bikes:
DIVVY bike rentals are $10 for a 24-hour pass. Just remember to check them in every 30 minutes. They're located around the corner just south of the Blue Line Damen-O'Hare stop at Damen & Pierce Avenue.

If you need recommendations on where to go and what to do during your stay, there will be a binder full of ideas for your review in the apartment. If you want to do something out of the ordinary, let us know, and we'll give you some additional options.

Guest access

The studio consists of:
One small bedroom, with two chairs a Television and a closet to hang your dancing shoes.
An eat-in kitchen with high top table and two stools, microwave, coffee maker and toaster oven. Stove is not usable for cooking, warming or using gas of any kind for lighting things in fire.
Small Bathroom with all the usual suspects. And... they work! Although the hot water may takes its sweet time working its way to the shower, defying gravity and this 100 year old building, be patient, it will get there!

Interaction with guests

Since you'll have this amazing gem of an apartment to yourself, we won't be there to interact much with you. Feel free to message us anytime during your stay if you need anything and we will do our best to make sure that you're well taken care of.

Jessica was very accommodating and the studio is in a busy and vibrant part of Chicago. The extra Kitchen space was an added bonus.

The apartment is sweet but you won't want to spend much time there because the neighborhood is amazing, more great restaurants and bars then one could visit in a week long stay all within a 5 min walk. Super close (2 min walk) to the train makes it super easy to get elsewhere in the great city of Chicago. Check in was easy, all round great place to stay

Very nice apartment , less then 5 minutes walk to the blue line train station which will take you to the center in 15 minutes. The host is really! nice and communication was great. When we were there , the kitchen was missing basic items to cook at the apartment.

Perfect for a weekend in Chicago! Location couldn't be any more ideal, especially for hitting up some of Wicker Parks best bars and getting to public transportation. Found ourselves able to get anything we wanted/needed steps from the door. Quiet even being in the heart of wicker park. Tastefully decorated and efficient for a single traveler or couple. Jessica ensured are check in went smoothly being out of state.

The apartment and location were perfect for our one week stay in Chicago. Wicker Park has amazing character, but those looking for a peaceful haven might be better elsewhere! The apartment had everything we needed and Jessica was very helpful all along. She was also very flexible in letting us check out late. Great air conditioning, a bit loud, but useful to mask out the activity outside! Damon station is literally across the street so getting downtown was easy. Some great places to eat and drink nearby especially Dove's Luncheonette and Stan's Donuts!
