Nice people, helpful whenever we had questions. Ryan recommended a coffee tour with a guide who knew a lot about roasting and tasting coffee, which we really enjoyed! Communication before arrival wasn't great, we sent some emails with questions about how to get there, but we never got an answer. The hostel itself wasn't very clean and was falling apart in some places. At night it was quite noisy because of barking dogs, but I heard more stories like that all around town. Sharing the breakfast meant we had two tiny pancakes and a slice of papaya each; definitely not enough when you plan a big hike for the day, so bring some food yourself. The store next to the hostel has some basic stuff, but not enough to keep you going a couple of hours.

Response from HostalNomba:
Thank you dearly for staying with us in Boquete. We enjoyed providing you the best experience possible. We will check into web presence as to how to get here but since we are in the top 3 hostels in Boquete, it makes us fairly easy to locate. Since prices are kept very low, I am guessing that a free breakfast made fresh for you daily isn't a bad thing... there can always be more when it comes to food and you should always bring plenty of food along a big hike. Please check out our burritos made on site at Pacos Tacos that are for sure to satisfy.

This was a very enjoyable stay. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. The hostel is a nice 25 minute walk to Boquete. The guests and staff were all nice people. Would stay here again.

We arrived a bit late at the Hostel and there was some confusion about our room. The staff quickly managed everything out and were super friendly. We only stayed for a night, but it was enough to see that it is a nice place to meet people and get around town. Staff are really helpful and can help you for pretty much everything you need to do in Boquete.

Me and my boyfriend stayed in Hostal Nomba for three nights and it was one of the best stays in Panama. The Hostel is really clean and all the guys, working there, really friendly. They always helped us with our questions and problems. One evening we ate at the Hostel restaurant and it was so nice dinner, made with love ;) The Hostel is little out of town (like 30min walking), but we loved the calm atmosphere and nature. We say thank u Ryan, Connor and the others for these nice days in hostel Nomba

I stayed for 4 nights with a friend. I live in Panama City and know Boquete very well, so I knew this hostel was a bit away from the town center (3 min drive, 15-20 min walk) buy since I had a car, that was not an issue. Even if you don't have one, getting a taxi right on the corner is easy, cheap and functional. The hostel was very cozy and clean. I stayed in a private room and used a shared bath without any problems. There were communal areas to relax with hammocks, an outdoor stove and fridge to store leftovers or drinks, and even an area to prepare whatever you wish to cook. The attention was very warm (thanks for everything Rosie) and the owners were always helpful to resolve any need. As hostels go, this one is very good and would defenitely recommend it to family and friends. I will return here on my next visit to lovely Boquete.
