I had a wonderful time in Tokyo. Jay is a very attentive and responsive host - all the instructions, from how to find the building to how to operate the appliances were clear and detailed. The apartment is centrally located and very nice and clean. The free unlimited pocket Wi-Fi is a nice bonus!

Very convenient place if you are planning to visit Tokyo. 10min walk from multiple stations. You can easily get to any place. Even though it was close to town, the place was much quieter than I expected.

Convenient location, around 11 min walk to JR station ie Shinjuku. The place has all the amenities. Jay was very responsive to my messages. We did encounter clogged bathroom drain, by the time Jay offered to send his cleaner we were leaving the next day so didn't take up on his offer. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location, close to Shinjuku and lots of good areas for nightlife or shopping, but still quiet and secluded. There is a trendy outdoor restaurant next door that is wonderful!

Hello! I'm Jay.
Thanks for visiting my profile.

I was born in San Francisco, and grew up in several great places including Tokyo, Taiwan, Hong Kong, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

I used to work for KPMG in Los Angeles and LaSalle Investment in Shanghai, and now I work for a start-up game character design company in Tokyo, and I also have been hosting guests from all over the world for over 6 years now!

My parents, from Taiwan and Hong Kong, has been running a small travel agency in Tokyo for almost 30 years, so if you are new to Tokyo, I would be more than happy to share some ideas on where to go and what to eat!!

I LOVE making friends from all around the world. =)
Last year I've visited 11 cities: France, Spain, California, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Phillippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Malaysia!

I really hope your trip in Japan will be a memorable and unforgettable experience!

HAPPY AIRBNB!

Best,
Jay
