Be our guest in our sunlit bedroom, which has a firm day bed. Enjoy ample closet space, book-lined walls, antique mirrors and a desk that is said to have been sat at by President Gerald Ford.
This room accommodates one guest. There is closet and desk space for your use. The guest bathroom is down the hall and is occasionally used by visitors to our home, but most of the time, it is just yours. We hire a professional biweekly cleaning service to help keep the space tidy.
Guest is welcome to use the living room, kitchen, and some refrigerator space. Utensils and plates are shared with owners. Guest is welcome to relax in our backyard. Free parking in our driveway can be made available if you give us advance notice.
Interaction with guests
Owners live down the hall. We'll be there to greet you when you arrive, but will give you your space. If you'd like breakfast for a short-term stay, let us know. We have very friendly 60-pound tuxedo lab mix dog who thinks she is still a puppy. She will want to socialize with you. We also have an Airbnb suite in the basement that can be booked for one guest at a time.

We are a friendly young professional couple bridging the coasts (she's from DC, he's from So Cal) who love to garden, cook and enjoy the great outdoors. We love to to find all the fun (free!) activities the Greater Washington, DC area has to offer. Our enthusiastic, loving dog Dora enjoys greeting all our guests as they come and go.
