The stylish studio offers its own accommodation for lovers of the great outdoors and those who simply want to unwind. It's a relaxed style that combines a rustic and country feel, but there's just one problem. You won't want to leave.....
The private unit is attached to our home.
Only a 10-minute walk from your accommodation. You are greeted by the lovely little village of Wakefield. Great location for biking lovers, as it's so close to The Great Taste Trail.
The space
This private bedroom and ensuite, equipped with its own private entrance, offers a comfortable Queen-sized bed. A compact kitchenette is available for the preparation of basic meals or breakfasts. We provide an ample supply of tea, coffee, and fresh milk. In the pantry, you will find some breakfast essentials for your convenience. You are cordially invited to unwind in our beautifully landscaped gardens. At night, when the skies are clear, the starry sky is truly breathtaking, so we encourage you to always look up. We have a sink in our laundry room for your convenience if you wish to wash your own dishes.

Your private unit comprises of three rooms: the main family hallway, which directs to the laundry room, and the final door on the right. A sink is available in the laundry room for dishwashing needs. Additionally, there is a family bathroom equipped with an antique roll-top bath, ideal for a lengthy soak.
You also have exclusive access to a private courtyard, and are cordially invited to explore the four other gardens.
Your private parking area is conveniently located right outside your unit, offering ample space.

There are houses around us but it's a very quiet area.
Our home is walking distance to a beautiful picnic area, Faulkner Bush. Has a area of 17 Hectares with abundance of footpaths and a lookout.
The charming village of Wakefield has the oldest school in New Zealand. Has the 2nd oldest church in NZ.
Two remnants of virgin bush.
The village has an award -winning café, bakery, and a Steam Museum.
There is the Great Taste Trail, you can cycle or walk in a 174km loop from Wakefield through spooners Tunnel. Spooners was once a busy train track in the late 1800s .
