The stylish studio offers its own accommodation for lovers of the great outdoors and those who simply want to unwind. It's a relaxed style that combines a rustic and country feel, but there's just one problem. You won't want to leave.....

The private unit is attached to our home.

Only a 10-minute walk from your accommodation. You are greeted by the lovely little village of Wakefield. Great location for biking lovers, as it's so close to The Great Taste Trail.

The space
Private bedroom and ensuite with own private entrance to the unit. The bed is a comfortable Queen.
There is a small kitchenette to create simple breakfasts or a basic meal. Plenty of tea, coffee, and fresh milk. In the pantry, there are some breakfast goodies for you to enjoy!
Welcome to relax in all the gardens.
At night, when the skies are clear, the stars are amazing, so please always look up.
We have a sink in the laundry room in our home, if you want to wash your own dishes.

Guest access
There are three rooms in your private unit: the main family hallway, which leads to the laundry room, and the last door on the right. There is a sink in the laundry room if you need to do any dishes. There is another family bathroom with an antique roll-top bath, if you want a long soak!
You have your own private courtyard, and you are welcome to stroll around the four other gardens.
Your private parking is there right outside your unit, providing plenty of space.

During your stay
Chris and I are available during the evenings and weekends if you need any more information. We will respect your privacy.

Other things to note
Free fast fibre broadband wi-fi, Netflix. A large smart TV for you to enjoy these facilities in the living room. Free laundry if needed.

There are houses around us but it's a very quiet area.
Our home is walking distance to a beautiful picnic area, Faulkner Bush. Has a area of 17 Hectares with abundance of footpaths and a lookout.
The charming village of Wakefield has the oldest school in New Zealand. Has the 2nd oldest church in NZ.
Two remnants of virgin bush.
The village has an award -winning café, bakery, and a Steam Museum.
There is the Great Taste Trail, you can cycle or walk in a 174km loop from Wakefield through spooners Tunnel. Spooners was once a busy train track in the late 1800s .
