Two comfortable villas renting separately accommodate 6 guests each or 12 when rented together. Perfect for a romantic get-away or a family holiday . The villas have free WIFI internet, large flat screen televisions and a lovely large garden.
These villas were lovingly restored to their splendor of 100 years ago, and decorated to treat our guests to a comfortable holiday and an interesting trip into the past.
Guests have access to everything that is provided in the villas, including basic food provisions. The garden provides guests with a variety of seasonal fruits such as cherries , plums, blueberries, gooseberries and apples -as well as walnuts - to enjoy during their stay
Interaction with guests
Guests are allowed to have complete privacy while still having access to our local representative who is just a phone call away and will provide them with anything they may require.
Other things to note
The town is host to the important and very interesting Art Film Festivals held every year during the last week in June and first week in July . There are many Folk Festivals , handicrafts exhibits, shows and concerts in the Concert Hall as well as in the park. A cinema in the park shows recent popular films in their original versions with Slovak subtitles.
We would like our guests to have a wonderfully relaxing and pleasant holiday and treat our home and large garden with the love that they would show their own home. Pets are not allowed as we have many shrubs and flowers in the garden and have had unpleasant experiences in the past.

A former English, French and Physical Education teacher, I have traveled and lived all over the world while my husband worked for the United Nations. We have now retired and live in this peaceful setting in the Swiss alps and wish to share the beauty of the place with travelers. My husband and I love this area as it has everything we enjoy doing . The ski slopes are just a short drive or a one stop train ride away, the Rhone river bike paths provide hours of bicycling with breathtaking mountain views, accompanied by the song of the resident birds in the surrounding forests ...and the choice of walks is endless. The village is also very central to the many wonderful tourist attractions too numerous to mention here.
We enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and cultures, and will be as congenial a host or as discreet and effacing as our guests wish. Our motto, like the one that strangely appeared one day on our local church, has always been "Carpe Diem" ...and we do seize every wonderful day here as a blessing .
