An Animal-lovers Pet Paradise! Quaint, Quirky, Basic Rustic Studio adjoining Chalet. Suitable for family 4 or 8 together with Chalet. Overlooking our Petting Farm with over 60 Miniature Rare-breed animals and Large Birds. Unique experience walking with the Ostrich & Emu, close encounters with Loretta Llama & Alpaca mini-horses, Tiny Timmy (-30") cows, bulls, highlands, mini-donkeys, horses & goat. The space
We are a retired couple sharing our little "animal hobby farm" with animal lovers from all around the world. We have been involved with Tourism in this area for 50 yrs, at Big bird for 23 years. The space is "country" Rustic accommodation, with NZ "homely hospitality" and "farm-family style" breakfast. (Ostrich Omelette in season) Much "MOA" than just a B&B! PLEASE NOTE: Children 1-2 yrs there is a $20 charge as extra supervision and care is required with the small animals (eg kittens) and the Petting Farm experience.

Ann & Ross Barnes (4th gen. Kiwis) We are a B&B/Farmstay on a working farm. Our style is "Come as Guests - Leave as Friends". We enjoy sharing "Our World" with guests from all around the world. Our Petting Farm gives Unique selfie opportunities you will get nowhere else with over 50 animals of 16 different varieties, including Ostrich/Emu and one of the "smallest bulls in the world"! We enjoy "adding value " to NZ holidays with homegrown Kiwi hospitality and good sense of humour!
