Had a great time. This home was perfect for our needs. Lisa was a great host and her home provided us with all the comforts of being at home.

A great spot for families to stay while in New Orleans. Central to all things --Plantations, National Parks, French Quarter, Central Park. Everything was a short drive away (we had a rental car but used public transportation too). The home was lovely, comfortable, well equipped, quiet, restful, great A/C, easy, everything you'd want for a week visit to bustling New Orleans. We so delighted after a busy day of touring to come back to our sanctuary--make dinner--and curl up with a movie or a book. Kids loved their separate rooms too! Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful and well loved house on a quiet but accessible street. We like to eat at home in the evenings and this kitchen was well equipped. Our hosts were available by text instantly. I was delighted that I did get to meet them. The solarium, with live orchids was enchanting for coffee in the a.m., and the tiny backyard for wine in the evening. I can't imagine a way for our visit to have been better. A 7$ Uber ride took us downtown, much better than paying for parking.

House was so comfy and a great neighborhood. Access to N.O, very easy, no matter which area you wanted to visit. Uber costs were very reasonable mainly because of proximity to must go spots. Southern charm at its best. Be pleasantly surprised as we were.

I am a New Orleans native. I love the city, and I'm happy to give you suggestions. I also love food. Luckily, New Orleans is the perfect city for foodies. I've worked as a caterer for many years, deciding to follow my passion after working as a teacher. I also enjoy music, especially reggae and jazz. On the weekends, my husband and I like to take advantage of the many festivals in the Big Easy, including JazzFest and the French Quarter Festival. When we have time to travel, we head to the beach to soak up some rays.
