I enjoyed my stay the vintage house. You get what you pay for. It's a simple flat but retains all the amenities necessary. If you're looking for a place just to lay your head before exploring the area, this is it. It's super central to Taksim and Iskalil street. I really appreciated that convenience.

I can't find words to describe how happy I felt during my stay at Vintage house. My room was so cosy and clean. It's a quite environment even though it looks messy on the outside. First I had to walk around in order to find it, but then I discovered my location was perfect. There are busses at just 1 minute walk distance. They take you to everywhere like Bakirkoy market and also Eminonu or just Taksim if you don't want to walk. Jet, you can reach Istiklal street just by crossing the street. It leads to Galatasaray lisesi which is basically in the middle. On Sunday the market is on the corner (100m!). Most important of my review is the workers. It felt like home due to Rami and his mother. They are so user-friendly and warm. I wish more Turkish people were so honest and respectful like them as they are Syrian. My mum had a really good time also. Even though they couldn't (our mums) communicate well, respect and love was the language and that's so rare these days when everything is about money. I would like to thank them, especially for inviting us to their table to eat dinner with them for iftar/Ramadan. I'm in Antalya and I already feel homesick cause people are so arrogant and rude here. Thank you Rami and Layla. Message to the owner: value your employees, they are your treasure ❤ I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was not clean at all. Not only the toilet but we were not even sure if the sheets were clean or unused before us. The most attractive point of the place was its backyard for us. Though it was a huge dissapointment. We had communication problems with people working there since they don't know turkish nor english very well. The location is in one of the most unsafe region you can be in Istanbul, even though it seems very close to Istiklal Street. I would suggest to look for other places, since you can pay the same proce and stay at a much better place.

The apartment itself is okay. But the neighbourhood is a bit dodgy. The biggest minus is that the electricity wasnt working and nobelst actually helped us. We couldnt charge our Phones, no WiFi... it was terrible. We got candles from the owner of the place, but we were done with iT after two days and booked another hotel

Good place for the price. The noise from the hallways and neighbors was frustrating however. We stayed 9 days and were also a little disappointed no one came to take out our trash or provide fresh towels/sweep the floor but wouldn't have noticed if we had stayed less time.

Good location, very near Istikal street and Taxim square. Neighborhood not very expensive with a few older buildings, however, the hotel itself is quite ok. Exactly like on pictures. A bit noisy during couple of nights with people walking and banging doors loudly but room was located inside of building so noises were softened. Enough warm water and heating/cooling functional. If you ask hotel staff, you can even get hair-dryer. Only problem we had were short linens that almost didn't cover the bed itself.

Good location close to Istiklal Ave - 10-15 min walk to Taksim or Sishane metro stops. There was no washer/dryer at the place, despite it being listed. Sheets didn't stay on the bed, and they weren't as clean as could be. Host was very accommodating, and was always available. Not a bad spot for Istanbul.
