Our charitable conservation trust owns this property as well so we'd love you to visit!

The property is owned by the Otago Peninsula Trust (OPT), a private charitable Conservation Trust. Other enterprises owned by the OPT include: The Royal Albatross Centre at Taiaroa Head, Historic Fort Taiaroa and Glenfalloch Woodland Garden. The Trust is also a partner in Blue Penguins Pukekura visitor attraction, historic Fletcher House and Glenfalloch Restaurant (Currently Dunedin's # 1 restaurant on Tripadvisor as at December 2019).

Known as "The Wildlife Capital of New Zealand" it features the world's only mainland Royal Albatross breeding colony, the world's smallest penguin and an array of endangered birdlife. The house is nestled in Macandrew Bay, one of the picturesque bays along the harbourside. The bay features a safe sandy beach, cafe, art gallery and local shops within easy safe walking distance. All the peninsula attractions are situated close by via an easy drive.
