Welcome to my sunny home in charming UWS brownstone. Cozy living room, 18ft. ceilings, huge windows, full bath w/ tub, small kitchen, spiral stairs, top fl bedroom opens to private balcony w/ table + chairs. Boho loft space sleeps 2 addtl. guests.
It's a special spot that equally offers serenity/privacy as much as access/convenience. I hope you enjoy my home as much as I do!
There's no TV. Wifi code is on the fridge.
You'll find a key to the balcony on the hook left of the sliding glass door. Please be sure the lock is latched when you are finished - sometimes it takes a few tries.
To reset Wifi follow instructions:

Other things to note
There is an unit AC downstairs as well as in the bedroom. There is no on/off switch to the unit in the bedroom. You can simply plug it in and unplug it. Feel free to use the small (very quiet!) fan in the bedroom.
The fuse box is to the right of the microwave on top of the fridge. Once in a while, there may be a short if both ACs are going and there are a few too many appliances plugged in simultaneously - it's easy to figure out.
The router and modem are upstairs in the bedroom under the desk.
My home is your home, enjoy! A couple things: Please be respectful of the neighbors by keeping noise levels low. I don't wear street shoes inside; please leave yours at the door while in the apartment. You are welcome to use the balcony but there is no smoking or candle-burning inside or out. There is no roof access. Though I love animals, I don't host any.
If you think you will need to use the kitchen please let me know. I prefer that the stove/oven are not used when I am away.
Please take extra care around the keyboards in the bedroom. Cheers!
Tall grass, north star, little socks, travel far. In the cabin of my mind, fast as summers came and went, slow as traffic, tall as pines, lives a spark for all of time...
Hi, I've been a New York City dweller for nearly 8 years. I come here from a seaside town in Maine by way of Vermont, New Zealand, Saint John USVI, and Boston.
Love: exploring the great outdoors; wandering a new city.
Dig: live music, commuting by bike, good design, green tea, and great conversation (un peu en Français aussi).
