Recomendamos.
Response from Blaise:
Our apartment is perfectly clean. A housekeeper comes twice a week to a full household. And, as every time we receive guests, we have cleaned thoroughly especially the apartment. There was not a speck of dust, not a crumb on the floor. Health, refrigerator, cabinets had been completely emptied and cleaned for the occasion. The word "rato" in Portuguese signifies "mouse" and not "rat" (which is called "rato-preto" or "ratazana"). Simone's husband had the misfortune of seeing a mouse move (only once, and only one mouse) when he rose overnight. (Mice only come out at night and never go anywhere but in the kitchen). All the inhabitants of Paris know that sometimes one can find in Parisian apartments a mouse, even in the most upscale neighborhoods. The mice live in the basement of the city and it is impossible to eradicate all of them. A rat and mice extermination company regularly comes in our building and we put traps from us. We can’t do more than that. A mouse is an animal that is 1 cm 1/2, which poses absolutly no danger to health, and which is very afraid of humans. It never does any harm. And anyway there is rarely at our home, where they are just passing through two or three times in a year. There was never any nests, droppings, mouse colonies, as it is sometimes the case in other apartments. We had not seen mice for at least six months before the arrival of Simone and her family, otherwise we would have warned them. And we live for fifteen years in this apartment with young children, like other families in our building. We received 8 times guests either by Airbnb, either through exchange sites. We never had any problems or any complaints for cleanliness. I add that Simone herself has told our concierge (who speaks Portuguese as her) that she sometimes has mice in her home in Sao Paulo. Are Simone's mice cleaner and more acceptable than those of Paris?
